The Flash Season 9 Episode 5 release date is quite soon. The series throws light on a superhero drama series. The character as well as the story has been inspired by DC Comics. In the lead, we see The Flash who has the power to move at insane speeds which helps him fight against the antagonists throughout the season. For the past few weeks, we have been seeing the show taking an emotional curve throughout.
Back in The Flash Season 9 Episode 4 titled The Mask of Red Death Part 1, we saw that Mark is working on creating the Cosmic Treadmill. He is at the Red Death’s Lair. Well, Red Death feels like he is working too slowly to finish on time. Obviously, they need more power in order to successfully finish the tasks. Red Death leaves in order to get another mouse as she calls it in order to help them with their cause.
On the other hand at the loft, Barry and Iris are sitting together trying to understand everything that Red Death needs. The duo does not know her real identity of her and thus thinks that it is a man. Barry also thinks that Red Death is actually the avatar of the Negative Speed Force. He feels like he could save them. It is the guilt driving his emotions for the time when Barry was unable to save Thawne. As for Iris, she is trying to decode and investigate where and how has Ryan Wilder gone to. Thus, we see that Barry is headed over to the STAR.

The camera then shifts its focus over to Joe who is reading a bedtime story to Jenna. In the house, Cecile comes across a pamphlet of some real estate agent selling a house in Keystone. When she talks with Joe, he has the view that they should buy a house so that Jenna could live as normally as possible. Although, Cecile does not think that it is the right choice.
When Barry arrives at STAR, we see that Chester is still not okay with things being truly weird between him and Allegra. Well, the two have now pushed their feelings to the side because their main focus right now is to find Red Death. Turns out that she actually appears in Central City in an attempt to get another “mouse” and Flash takes note and reaches the location.
Well, the whole thing backfires because she actually came with Roy Bivolo. Together, the duo overpowers Flash and kidnaps him while engulfing the entire city with darkness. As they all go back to the lair, Red Death starts using Flash as her power source to build the treadmill faster. Turns out that Flash is just phase one of their plan and she will later get Iris as well.
Things are pretty messed up at STAR as they find out about having no contact whatsoever with Barry. Also, at the loft, we see that Ryan Wilder comes knocking. She also looks pretty injured. Ryan then tells Iris that she was coming into the city but got hurt when an EMP came knocking her down. She also tells about things with Red Death but Iris is not so sure to believe her just yet.

The Flash Season 9 Episode 5 release date is on the 8th of March 2023. The episode is titled The Mask of the Red Death Part 2. It will drop out on The CW at 8 PM Eastern Time. New episodes of this superhero drama show are released every week on the channel at the same time on Wednesdays.
