Are you tired of watching a romantic/drama about two strangers falling in love at the end of the movie or breakup because, for some reason, and all the same every time in these movies? Well, don’t worry, as we have a show for you that has the same elements but with real people who have never met before trying to find “the one” on camera.
So let’s forget about Fault In Our Stars, Titanic, etc., and find out about this interesting show called Married At First Sight Australia. The show was originally created in Danish, which was later adapted and given the name “Australia” at the end of it because it’s made in that country for Aussie couples.
This is a running TV show about strangers who meet for the first time, get to know each other and get married by the end of the episode if they both agree to it. Now they don’t legally marry each other under the law of the marriage act in Australia but instead do a fake on-screen ceremony for viewing purposes only and also so that the real-life couple can take their time to marry the way they want to.
The show is directed by Ryan Potter, who has been doing this since the first season, and the show successfully pulled off ten seasons of it. The producers of the show are Tara McWilliams and John Walsh, and the main production is run in Australia under the company Endemol Shine Australia.
You would think that they must have some actors or cast who fake it or follow a script, but my friend, to your surprise, it’s absolutely done with real-life people and a host/narrator named Georgie Gardner, who is running the face of the show and is running it since the beginning.

Married At First Sight Australia Season 10: Recap And Details
To begin with, the show first aired on 18 May 2015 on Nine Network, an Australian Television channel, and the show was an instant hit when it came out among the country’s audience. Let’s take a quick overview of the premise of the show. Then we will talk about season 10 briefly.
The show starts with two strangers who meet for the first time at the altar to get “married,” don’t worry, it’s fake like I mentioned earlier, then they spend their wedding night in a nice hotel room, and no you won’t get to see all of it as this isn’t that kind of show.
So after the wedding night, they go on a honeymoon, from which, upon return, they have to stay together for some time. Every week, each of the contestants gets to choose whether they want to “stay” or “leave,” and at the end of the period, they will give their final verdict of staying together and committing to one another or getting separated.
Each episode is shot in Australia and is available to watch in 1080p resolution and stereo audio quality, the episodes are 60–90 minutes long, and they can get very dramatic or boring at times because of their unscripted nature.
Season 10 of Married At First Sight Australia episode 1 first aired on 30 January 2023 with their episode where two couples, Lyndall & Cameron and Bronte & Harrison, met for the first time and married in Byron Bay and Sydney, respectively, and the viewership count is not released yet because it’s newly out.
The entire 10th season has been launched with 10 brides and 10 grooms who will be paired by the expert sexologist Alessandra Rampolla in each of the episodes. There will be a total of 17 episodes in this season, with the rest bonus ones.
