The Plot of Fantasia
Meet Ark, the young prince of Nargala, destined to rule his kingdom. Guided by the fierce and skilled female knight, Celine, Ark hones his skills in the art of diplomacy and the ways of the sword. Fate does him dirty when Ark’s beloved Aurelia is taken away to join the harem of the Empire’s leader.
Driven by his love and determination, Ark’s path takes him to a mysterious dark elf named Latiforiazhard. With Latiforiazhard’s aid, Ark undergoes a training arc, and Ark now possesses unimaginable strength and overpowered abilities. Together, Ark and Latiforiazhard begin a journey to rid the world of all evil.
The characters in the manga include Ark de Razare Nargala, Aurelia Isteshia, Celine, Wenna, and Gavial.
World End’s Harem: The Franchise
World’s End Harem, written by LINK and illustrated by Kotaro Shono, was first released in 2016 and with its first part ending in 2021 with 85 chapters. The second part, “World’s End Harem: After World,” followed in 2021 and ended this year on May 7. Fantasia is a spin-off of World End’s Harem.
Another spin-off, titled “World’s End Harem: Britannia Lumiere,” written by LINK and illustrated by Kira Eto, was released in 2020 and ended with 22 chapters in June 2021. A comedy spin-off of Fantasia was released as well. It is titled “World’s End Harem: Fantasia Academy” and re-imagines the same Fantasia characters in a school setting.
Fantasia Academy served as an entertaining extra read during the manga’s hiatus. Here, the mysterious and attractive elf is Ark’s homeroom teacher, but can a teacher even dress so inappropriately? Do Aurelia and Ark have a chance to love here peacefully?
Sexy women, elves, and a whole lot of fan service. World End’s Harem is one of the most famous harem series out there. The art in the manga is pretty good, and the story is decent. Readers let the average story off the hook since most of them read it only for the characters and fan service.
Harem is a pretty popular genre among manga enthusiasts, but it usually falls short as many harem series don’t actually have a well-developed plot and mainly focus on women.
The manga had 100,000 copies in circulation as of 2018, so we can assume it was pretty successful. In Fantasia, the main character isn’t boring and plain, and there is actually a story to the series.
Some may say this genre “objectifies” women and follows stereotypes, but others see it as entertainment and light-hearted content. Now, we’ll let you get back into the world of harem. Don’t forget to tune into the free chapters!
