The CEO asks his wife to talk in private and asks her if she is in the right mind. She told him not to bother with her business, but he reminded her that she was responsible if anything bad happened to the company. We are then shown the blonde employee being with another one of his flings.
The blondies display of behavior shows that CEO’s wife is a poor judge of character and how it will lead to downfall. However, this won’t sell the series, so we are shown another great promise in the story. The MC is sick of the toxic environment he has been working in and decides to quit the company altogether.

Punishing an MC for being good is one way to sell manhwa in the modern age and also a very great way for the audience to lose trust in the series. However, cliffhangers are a great way to motivate readers to keep the readers interested, and this is what the series has been doing for the last few chapters.
Everything ends on a note that gives hope for MC in how he deals with things, a thing that hadn’t happened for a long while. But this is just a buildup, and it could all just be a bad joke as the series concludes.
