In Love Transit, ten men and women get together in hopes of finding the love of their life, as they get to know one another while staying in a five-star hotel. Categorized into five pairs, these participants were former ex-couples who split up in the past and decide to start afresh through Love Transit, and find romance while trying to get over their ex lover.
Some of them, on the other hand, have plans of their own that contradict building new relationships, and instead wish to rebuild their romance with their ex-partner. The ex-couples enter this Japanese reality dating show in hopes of either starting fresh beginnings or resolving their past relationship problems and reuniting with their ex.
Love Transit’s debut episode premiered last week on June 15, 2023, and the show is a sequel of the Korean Dating Show “EXchange”.
The five ex-couples who came to Love Transit are made to speak and discuss their love life with their exes and tell the rest of the participants the personality traits of their ex lover. The ten men and women who came to the show were made to spill all of the highs and lows they had experienced with their ex.
As they all talk about their past relationship, their definition of their ex-partner influence how the rest of the participants feel about the exes and see who’s most suitable for them. Then, the participants will choose the one they are most attracted to and who gave the best first impression after they’re done talking about their exes.
They have two options for their first date: either they pick a new partner to spend a date with or return to their ex in an effort to revive the flames of their past romance. While some decide to go on with who they know best, the rest desire to form new relationships with different people and branch out.
After all of them take turns picking the best personality for them, five new couples will appear, and they will go on dates to see if there’s a spark between them. Out of these, there with either be entirely new couples ready to explore new beginnings, or couples who stick to who they know best- their ex.
