The independent studio Omocat created and released the 2020 position video game Omori. A hikikomori kid called Sunny, and his fantasy land alter ego Omori is controlled by the player throughout the narrative. In order to face their fears and secrets, they investigate both the physical world and an absurd dream world.
The player’s decisions will determine how they communicate, which will lead to one of several possible outcomes. The spin battle system in the game has unusual status effects based on the feelings of the characters. The match has elements of a gothic thriller and prominently features ideas like anxiety, depressed mood, as well as trauma. Here we have a list of the same like:
At Home Alone II
This is a fun, healing mini-plot game that you can play at home. Players will pretend to be young girls and explore the house while playing. What strange occurrences will occur, and will you discover any strange secrets while exploring? A relaxing mini-pixel plot game to play at home Players will wander at home from the perspective of a little girl. During the exploration, maybe.
The psychological thriller game At Home Alone, created by SkyLineGames and released by 0Cube, is deceivingly adorable. You take on the role of an unnamed young child whose mother has also left her at home alone while she goes to work.
But when Kangtai vanishes, everything goes wrong, and the girl is left to search for him. And what initially appears to be a case of a missing child ends up being much more complicated and devious than it first appears to be. At Home Alone: The Game does offer the option for those that have played the very first two At Home Alone games to bypass the sections covered by such games by entering a mathematical notation a few times in the game; this allows you to immediately jump to the new content without needing to play through things you’ve seen before.
However, in order for new players to fully comprehend what is going on, the game must be played completely. And, in order to avoid giving anything away too much, you should continue playing even after you believe that the game has clearly indicated that it is over.
Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass
A Texas man created this Japanese-style role-playing game. The jRPGs of the SNES era, especially Earthbound, Dragon Quest 5, and the Breath of Fire sequence, among others, had a significant influence on it. Yume Nikki had a significant influence as well. An eight-man’s fantasy contains the game. Jimmy embarks on an excursion to save his relatives and eliminate the threat posed by the Pulsating Mass whenever an alien entity poses a threat to both his family and the stability of the fantasy land itself.
Jimmy will have to cooperate with his family, face his own deficiencies, and battle his subconscious’s crawling nightmares all along the way. The first advertising game by Kasey Ozymy, Jimmy, as well as the Pulsating Mass, are great additions to the fog of ridiculous, emotional games that emanate from Earthbound, like the aroma of a freshly baked pepperoni pizza.
Barkley’s Shut Up and Jam Gaiden, LISA, as well as the upcoming YIIK and Glitched, are all part of this cloud, which also features corny jokes, intense sadness, and militarized everyday objects. Jimmy, on the other hand, is a unique creature all its own: a sometimes clumsy RPG Maker-fueled voyage that highlights loss as well as humanity in an adventure story about a boy who can transform into a bear.
Jimmy has little control over the external world because he is a shy kid. It’s a different story when he assumes the terrifying “50s-Style Vampire” or a hybrid of a grating bird and a record player. Jimmy is able to change between his various imagined forms by using the Imagination command while engaged in combat. Every form has a unique set of skills and stat enhancers.
Jimmy’s natural state is affected by the skills as each one advances in level. His base level of agility is increased by time spent as a bird, which eventually results in passive and active skills that he can use in any form. To emphasize this, the game will generate all of the dialogue from the central protagonist using RPG Maker’s “choice” boxes rather than the more traditional dialogue boxes.
This gives the impression that you’re “making” the main character say it all, even though there’s usually only one “choice” to end up making, and the dialogue is purposefully made to sound silly. For instance, the main character refers to inanimate objects by name and obviously has thought of the “lore” behind many of them, including her clothes hangers.
The finale of Home Alone
An at-home exploration mini-game with a healing plot Players will explore their own home while taking on the role of a young girl. When she leaves alone, what will she do? Will bizarre tales be heard during this process? During the exploration, perhaps you’ll even uncover some strange secrets.
In keeping with its moniker, “At Home Alone: Victory” is the culmination of a game that has been in ongoing development since 2018. It began as a brief psychological scare story that was published in “demo” form, evolved into a paid remake that was longer, and then, rather eerily, went free once more for its concluding iteration. This latter version is the one we’re examining today.
You play a young girl in At Home Alone: The Finale whose mother, whom we see leaving at the start of the article, has left her at home alone. The girl’s exploits are then followed as she makes an effort to keep herself busy while waiting for her mother to come home in a big, empty building.
A variety of events take place all along the way; at first, they develop in an unalterable, pre-scripted way, but the match allows for numerous playthroughs, with new choices being added to the mix each time. By doing this, you almost certainly get to see every scenario in which the story could play out.
Aaecaca, Nyakori’s Rabbit Doll
The saga in this DLC picks up after Nyakori’s rabbit doll’s real conclusion, but you can still play it without having seen the real ending first. This DLC adds fresh new gameplay that is entirely distinct from that of the base game, along with fresh new action sequences, character types, and CG.
The black girl Yuri uses her authority in this DLC to design the globe in three dimensions, each of which represents a different perspective on it. She has the ability to allow you to leap from one aircraft to the next. On various planes, various things might be taking place. Imagine if you broke a window on flight A and something terrible transpired on flight B as a result.
Are you motivated to use this power independently to look for hints and learn the truth? Although there are several main characters in this story, athletes are not forced to play for any one of them. You have the option to view any personality at any time in this game. Character transitioning into a more practical scenario The AI will take over the previous stance and condition of the position after swapping, just like a normal human, for any characters that cannot be governed by the player.
Play the part of someone who wakes up in the middle of the night and does not find her sister. We then search for her in a truly awful house that appears to have been deserted. This game was developed by the red pupil as well as the white cat production staff and is a miniature horror puzzle RPG. To avoid the heavy body parts, the player will control the cat-eared girl.
They will also keep exploring the room’s death machines and delve far into their memory bank. The game’s main story only lasts for about two to three hours, and the puzzles are not particularly challenging. While playing, there will be lots of interactions, and it’s a wonderful experience. This school’s audio and visual performance is far superior to its price; it is beautifully detailed, has an excellent scene layout, and has lovely background music. In general, it is a role-playing game that is reasonably affordable.
Project Kat: Paper Lily Prologue
There is always a different option in the brief, outlandish RPG horror game known as Project Kat. Help Kat solve puzzles, make friends (or not), and play games as she tries to figure out the mystery behind a strange gold letter. A snarky student named Kat enters her school after hours to carry out an enigmatic ritual. Lack of awareness that three other girls attempted to call a ghost by doing the same item. In Project Kat, Kat, a high school student, is determined to try a risky game.
The team’s objective is to learn its secrets and ensure she escapes unscathed. Each puzzle in this narrative puzzle game has different answers as well as outcomes. There’s always a different option. There is only one ending to the match, but I guess it depends on the player’s decisions; there could be gameplay distinctions. The game takes about 45 minutes to finish. Whatever you choose to do, she will always achieve the same outcome. But the plot improves as the story goes on.
After completing the ceremony, Kat will be in a room with a long hallway and several door locks, one of which will have wooden planks blocking something. She will be able to unlock the gate at the top of the stairs once she obtains a key. Kat would then find herself in a lengthy hallway resembling the one at her school, and as she moves forward, she hears an unidentified voice heckle her. After being confined, Kat will have a slight breakdown and plead with the teacher to let her out. She will then find herself transferred back to the first hallway, where she will see that the door that had been blocked by wooden planks has been decrypted.
Osteoblasts
A bony dungeon crawler RPG called Osteoblasts is created by skeletal remains for skeletons and about skeletal remains. If you are not an undead person, leave this page right away, or you will be subject to both skull and bone laws. Osteoblasts are a unique dungeon scraping that suffers from poor execution. Players can anticipate a combat system that is complex and offers a wide range of options, but that could become tedious once they realize how little deviation from a comfortable build is required to advance.
At best, characters can be a little endearing, and at their worst, they can be unmemorable, which the convoluted plot doesn’t really help with. Osteoblasts get off to a great start and maintain a good tempo for a while but falter just before the end zone. It only takes about 9 hours to complete the game on a single run of the game. Some of the story’s details are unclear. As a skull servant running some daily chores for your maestro, you begin the match.
It doesn’t take much time before you have somewhere to go that appears from nowhere, changing your entire course to find this enigmatic location. The vast majority of conversations will revolve around requesting directions, while those that do not usually have any meaning.
Even though the narrative was given more depth toward the conclusion of the game, I no longer fully comprehend what is going on. The majority of the story’s elements received little development; in fact, many of them are expressed in ethereal, ambiguous language that may be challenging to comprehend. Fighting in Osteoblasts differs slightly from other RPG Maker games, notwithstanding using the same turn-based system.
All strike skills that require MP to cast can be obtained by using specific abilities or at the end of each turn. Because you always need to gather enough MP before you can strike the enemies, the battle moves slowly. This also implies that you do not have to worry about running out of MP at all because you’ll probably be more concerned with HP.
Children of Silenttown
Kids of Silentown’s prologue introduces Lucy, a young girl starting to grow up in a village tucked away in a monster-infested forest. The game is a dark journey. In the village, it frequently happens for people to vanish, but at this moment, Lucy is old enough to look into it on her own. or so she believes. Children of Silentown, a palm-sized dark adventure game, will be released on PC as well as consoles this year or next, thanks to a collaboration between Daedalic Amusement and developers Elf Games as well as Luna2 Productions.
The game Children of Silentown has been around for a while. The game’s opening sequence was made available for free back in 2020. Since then, it has received a lot of positive feedback on Steam. It has received an astounding 96% positive rating from its 867 reviews. Although the prologue has long kept fans satisfied, they probably want to know when the final release will debut. Luckily, it will be released for PC and consoles sometime in 2019 by the developer Elf Games as well as Luna2 Studio and the publishing company Daedalic Amusement.
A young girl named Lucy is the focus of the unsettling action adventure “Children of Silentown.” She lives in a small community encircled by a forest full of monsters. Her frightened village has noticed a rise in missing residents, but until now, nothing has been done about that. That is, until Lucy feels compelled to look into it. It is up to the player to look around the village, work out puzzles, and communicate with the locals. Here are a few things you can anticipate from Children of Silentown:
Tales of the Black Forest
A Japanese city has been overtaken by a rising dark power in a world full of ykai. A pair of developers came together to create a Japanese pixel adventure series that tells a story from the Heisei era. The game’s narration is its primary selling point. Three interconnected chapters that each focus on a different character and the event taking place in their environment make up the world of Stories of the Black Forest. Every chapter of the story has a unique feel to it, but one thing is for sure: the ending is heartwarmingly told. I am aware that it is difficult to tell a compelling story using only 2D sprites, but this match does it with ease.
The article is definitely nonlinear because each chapter’s main character is a different kind of person. You’ll discover some hints about what transpired during a specific event, which will assist you in comprehending another event in a larger context. Even with the recurring identities, it might be challenging to remember them all, but the match is willing to provide you with some explanations. Although there may still be some unanswered questions, I thought the end came together nicely.
You might not be able to fully appreciate the story because of the translation. Whether it’s certain places or straightforward terms, it frequently fails to translate certain words. When you first confront a word like “Komusume-chan,” the interpreter chooses to just provide a translation note encircled in brackets, even though it can be translated into English beautifully without destroying the sentences. When you have to remember a large number of Japanese names, it can be difficult for people who don’t speak Japanese to understand these phrases.
Hylics 2
Like the first match, Hylics 2 starts in Wayne’s home and continues to follow his adventures. Even so, it soon becomes clear that he is not a singular person but rather a single representative of the entire Wayne organism. The Waynehouse is the residence of this colonial power, the Waynes. Wayne climbs the house in search of Old Wayne, the colony’s sage, with whom to converse.
Old Wayne mentions a star prophecy that predicted Gibby would be resurrected thanks to the work of his devout fans. Wayne is dispatched to notify New Muldul’s chief, Blerol, of these prophesied occurrences. He is to carry out his mission by himself because the other Waynehouse inmates still need to complete their instructions.
When they arrive in New Muldul, they find that soldiers sent by a ruler named Viewax have already occupied the city. Even though hostile forces are no longer in control of the city, Lord Blerol and the proprietor of the neighborhood cafe have been kidnapped and are being held captive in Viewax’s Edifice to the north.
When Wayne wants to enter Blerol’s castle, he discovers Pongorma, an old friend who has been dispatched to New Muldul to help in Blerol’s rescue. As they both have the same objective, the two team up, and Pongorma gives them pneumatophores so they can glide through the air as well as travel more easily. Wayne and Pongorma travel to the north in order to confront Viewax and free his prisoners.
The two run into Dedusmuln, another old friend, while trying to sneak into the building. Dedusmuln clarifies that they are there for research, looking for antiquated active cabinets kept inside the fortress. They decide to collaborate with Wayne and Pongorma, and the three of them use Dedusmuln’s canoe to enter the structure through the labyrinths of the fortress. The team eventually makes it to the tower’s top floor, where they confront and kill Viewax. Wayne and his team will be able to free Blerol and the cafe holder once they find Viewax’s dungeon key.
An Episode of “Angels of Death”
The Japanese horror adventure series Angels of Death, also known as Satsuriku no, was created by Hoshikuzu KRNKRN for Nintendo and Window Frames. It was produced with RPG Maker and was first made available in the months of August and January of 2001 as a free program through the Den Fami Nico Game Journal website. It was released on Steam in English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese in December 2015 and again in 2016.
Eddie is a prequel that was made available as one of the bonus installments in the restricted Blu-ray and DVD Complete Set of the first volume of the manga. Two manga adaptations, one based on the video game and the other on the prequel, created by Kudan Nazuka and written by Makoto Sanada, debuted in the shojo manga magazines Monthly Comic Gene from Mainstream Press Factory in 2015 and Kadokawa Pixiv in 2016.
Over 1 million copies of the first manga’s collection of seven tank-bon volumes have been printed, whereas the prequel collection consists of only three books. Following the changes, three new series, as well as a four-Koma manga sequence titled Satsuten!, are written and illustrated by Negiyan, with writing by Kina Chiren.
In 2015 as well as 2016, the shojo manga magazines Month-to-Month Comic Gene from Media Factory and Kadokawa Pixiv started serializing two manga adjustments, one based on the game and the other on the prologue. Both were written by Makoto Sanada and featured Kudan Nazuka’s art. With over 1 million copies printed, the first graphic novel is collected in eight tankoubon volumes, whereas the prequel is collected in three books. Following the adjustments, a new trilogy with artwork by Negiyan and a four-Koma manga sequence titled Satsuten! were both published.

Hello Charlotte EP3: Childhood’s End
The third series of the Hello Charlotte series, titled Childhood’s Stop, concludes the main plot. It is a short story that acts as both a prologue and a conclusion to the main plot. A consumer noise maker, a dangerous insect, a scandalous revelation, and a sincere thank you.
Lily’s Well
In 2005, Pure Ice Blue, the company behind I Cannot Drown, released the freeware horror title Lily’s Well in the game engine MV Motor. Lily Tabacchi, a young child, hears cries for assistance outside her window and wakes right in the middle of the night. Lily gets up and gathers materials from around her residence to use as cords for the rescue in order to save the unidentified person.
Despite the fact that the game’s entirety is free to download, there is a Bonus Pack that includes a digital art book and uncut cutscene graphics that can be purchased through Itch.io and Steam. In the early summer of the year 2005, it is a rainy night. Having been put to bed by her papa, Lily is left alone and at home. A call for help from beyond her window wakes her up. It originates from the well. Assist Lily in gathering rope so she can enter the well and rescue the trapped person.
Players in this pixel-horror match take control of Lily, a young child. She mustered up the fortitude to gather cords after hearing a voice pleading for assistance from the bottom of her apartment’s well in order to rescue whoever was stranded there. Players can look around Lily’s house and the surrounding area to find various items that can be used as rope. Gamers can learn about a variety of different outcomes for Lily. Each one is influenced by the length and materials used to construct the rope. It is recommended that you play this game several times to try out the various rope durations and unearth some of Lily’s home’s hidden things.
Divided Reigns
A traditional role-playing journey game steeped in the most enduring JRPG customs is called Divided Reigns. This is a handwritten letter to the greatest players of the ’90s, harkening back to some of the most cherished video games ever created, with spin battles, arbitrary encounters, as well as sprite-based visuals. Despite the emphasis on nostalgia, Divided Reigns isn’t just a tribute; several original concepts have been used to make sure that it can proudly distinguish itself from its predecessors.
The world of Divided Reigns is split between three war-torn countries. One of these powers and authorities has been fighting an aggressive war against one of its rivals for a while, and it recently succeeded in doing so. Captain Alfred, an executive from this heavily militarized nation, serves as the protagonist and teaches us about this globe.
The story wowed me with how quickly it captured my attention, and Alfred is a likable, if somewhat idealistic, champion. He makes the decision he desires to bring about world peace after becoming disenchanted with his nation’s aggressive actions. He doesn’t have much time to pursue this goal before things start to go wrong, and he finds himself fighting for his life.
Fans of traditional JRPGs will recognize Divided Reigns’ action as soon as possible, and the game does indeed draw heavily from the early Final Fantasy games. Divided Reigns begins to carve out its own niche in terms of battle and weaponry. A list of known attacks for each weapon is included, including “high, side, ranged, reach, low, trip,” and others. Weapons that deal less damage can employ a broader range of types of attack, whereas those that deal more damage, like blades, have a limited number of options.
Coromon
The focus of Coromon is on taming the game’s titular wildlife and competing against other animals, trainers, as well as titan bosses. Create a team out of more than 100 endearing creatures, each unique in their elements, characteristics, and abilities. Catch them, prepare them, and then release them onto your competitors! Discover a charming pixel-based world full of difficult puzzles, fascinating creatures, and intimidating bosses.
You’ll support the narrative of a future researcher who joins the cutting-edge company Lux Solis. You will be a member of a specialist team known as the Titan Taskforce, and your job will be to look into the six Titans that are known to exist in the Value area. However, soon you discover that alien space forces are bringing a strange elemental type to your globe, which is slowly causing the world’s foundation to collapse.
You will obtain handy resources from Lux Solis, but it is up to you to collect the Titan Essences and repair the harm done to the planet’s core. The video game Coromon is a good example of a monster-taming game. In other words, the main gameplay includes catching and typically engaging in combat with various creatures. These kinds of games are frequently compared to Pokemon, despite the fact that they are very different. But in Coromon’s case, it is purposefully poke-like.
It would be a huge injustice not to bring up the comparison, which includes training a team of up to six players and engaging in turn-based combat with a four-move pool, as well as a similar progression structure. All Coromon catchers and combatants in this region of the world are researchers for the Lux Solis corporate entity. You’ve been given the task of gathering titan essence from the titans that dwell in the Velua region as a highly promising recruit.
You must succeed in battle in order to obtain the essence of these titans, who are powerful elemental-based beings that coexist peacefully with the landscape. But first, you must travel to the locations using various routes, assist the locals with their issues, and then search a dungeon-like area for the titan. You’ll encounter turn-based combat, catch Coromon, and evolve them while on your trip.
These spin battles feature almost all of the features you’d anticipate from a Poke-like. Coromon only has four moves equipped at any given time, but you can switch between them easily outside of combat by using their learned move pool. All moves utilize a single pool of skill points, and has taken a turn to rest during combat can cure half of them. Various desserts can restore HP and SP, but I was perpetually broke all through the game because I frequently used items to heal from powerful attacks.
Nepenthe
You awaken without any memories. Your day is off to a good start! The palm-sized role-playing game Nepenthe has a terrible sense of humor. You take on the role of a strange bald man who has forgotten his memory in the surreal world of Carinthia. You did read that correctly. Meet some really polite monsters and engage in epic bullet-hell fight scenes with them while defending your self-respect. Not a potato in a leather jacket, for sure.
Nepenthe, which features a childish hand-drawn art style, will either make you fall in love with it instantly or make you throw away your laptop. Nepenthe’s creator disclaims liability for such behavior and advises drinking chamomile tea instead. “It’s incredibly calming,” he says. Designed primarily for non-psychopaths, Nepenthe is built for endless replayability with three distinct endings and a ton of side missions. If you have to share a computer with somebody, this can become very irritating. Believe me. For a greater challenge with less bloodshed, almost all monsters can be avoided.
The positional computer game Nepenthe is available for both macOS and Windows. It was made in the United States using the RPG Maker MV game engine and released on Steam in the month of May and in the year 2018 by independent developer Yitz. The game is set in the weird world of Carinthia, which is entirely palm-drawn in a similar manner. The player assumes the role of a neutral man with amnesia and interacts with some civilized creatures.
The Liminal
In the psychological horror game The Liminal, your mission is to lead a lost child through bizarre, abstract, as well as unsettling worlds. In this surreal moment influenced by cult classic games, web horror phenomena, and personal experiences, you will come across strange and memorable creatures that can be your friend or foe, immerse yourself in expansive and twisted landscapes, and elude perilous pursuers while searching for answers.
A distinctive visual aesthetic that combines traditional pixel art with electronic artwork, photographers, hand-drawn drawings, and AI-generated illustration, a narrative-driven game without traditional enemies or systems and a focus on discovery
You’ll meet some intriguing, enduring, and occasionally philosophical characters on your trip. Spacious, maze-like esoteric levels with enemies that are equally distinctive and psychedelic to avoid, ranging from desolate wastelands to vibrant cities. Thoughtfully crafted ambient soundtrack with more than 100 songs featuring a wide range of songs with different tones and lengths.
There are worlds, character types, and other dark secrets for the most daring travelers to discover.
20 protected files guarantee an easy highlight reel and deeper exploration of your favorite segments.
A good deal of agony as well as excruciating pain.
An observer from the Past
We first must create the game’s overall story and how it is presented in the game before we discuss the storytelling issues with The Witness. Your player character in The Witness works as a playtester for an ongoing video game. You discover yourself on an island with no one to talk to. Non-player characters are still all immobile statues.
Your sole responsibility as a playtester is to solve a puzzle and make sure the game runs smoothly. You must follow a line from its beginning to its end in order to solve puzzles, which take the form of panels on computer monitors. This information establishes the plot of The Witness, a tale that deviates from what was once considered a “story.” According to the standard definition, a story follows a character or group of characters as they go through a series of incidents that force them to deal with a conflict of some kind, ultimately resulting in the interaction of one or more themes.
The story of The Witness, in contrast, doesn’t have your character encounter any sort of “conflict,” as it is typically understood. The story of The Witness is instead about how you, the player, interpret the mysterious environment around you. The game offers the player the chance to form their own interpretations of the data supplied by the game, whether it be in the form of puzzles or the outside world.
The Witness inspires the player to form their own interpretations and worldviews through these possibilities, which provide useful material for the plot of The Witness. However, this information isn’t immediately obvious to the player because the game will not really establish the evolution of interpretations as its plot.
The hidden ending of The Witness is a video of a man—possibly a developer—awakening and exploring the development office. The man appears to be the game’s tester and represents the player’s character. Even though it is absurd to base that argument on a voluntary endgame mystery, one might be enticed to use this conclusion to support the claim that the playtester’s journey serves as the game’s plot.
Secret endings in video games can reveal more details about the plot, but building a narrative around endgame content is inappropriate. Although this hidden ending reveals important details about the player character’s role, basing the entire story on it seems wrongheaded. Finding this mystery on your own proves to be practically impossible for a new player.
They won’t at first find it because they are unaware of the puzzle’s secret solution. To find the right puzzle solution, they must first finish the cave area, which has some of the game’s more challenging puzzles. 3, the player must keep in mind that the puzzle was in the game’s opening area, which they haven’t visited before. The fourth and final step is to solve the puzzle and reveal the hidden resolution.
All of these tasks are far too demanding for a novice player. To learn this secret—and even just that it exists—they would probably need to search the internet. Although the video of the game’s secret ending lends support to the playtester’s journey interpretation, the ending itself only serves as additional total secrecy to further the game’s narrative, so an argument using this secret ending to claim that the playtester’s trip is The Witness’s story is unpersuasive.
Smile For Me
A florist visits Habitat, a care facility owned by a man named Dr. Habit, who proclaims that it should be used to treat depressed, angry, or jaded people in this unusual point-and-click adventure game called Smile for Me. Sadly, Habitat does not live up to its promises, and as the days get closer to “the big event,” the florist’s interaction with the residents while they are there lifts their spirits and gradually reveals the dirty secrets of Habitat and Dr. Habit’s past. Given that Dr.
The habit was born in 1957 but had an official age of 37, and the game is assumed to have taken place sometime during the 1990s. Despite this, he still manages to maintain a Twitter account. A very mild example in which the pronouns they and them are used to refer to Tim Tam. Although the game was set in 1994, nonbinary people typically chose nonstandard pronouns like zie/hir or ey/em/eir in the 1990s instead of the less prevalent singular people.
Nonetheless, given the revival of nonstandard work pronouns in some non-binary societies in the modern ’10s, In the adventure series Smile For Me, you must pay attention to other people’s issues and figure out how to make them happy. There are 22 people in need of your aid, and each of them has a unique issue. 2D protagonists, 3D cultures, and real-world images and videos are all used in Smile for Me.
Cartoonish, 2D graphics are used for the protagonists, which rotate to face the direction you are facing. In addition to the real-life photographs that serve as key items, the simple, 3D backgrounds support the 2D characters. Aside from their differences, everything works well together overall.
The number of people you assist will determine how many stories you receive. At first glance, Smile for Me may appear to be a lighthearted game where you can assist others in getting rid of their problems. Each resident has a unique set of issues and a unique history, allowing us to better understand their problems and determine how to assist them.
Only secrets can reveal the history that underlies the entire facility. You could perhaps complete the game without realizing it and view the resolution in a different light. It’s good to see that the scene has two sides, and even though the ending may be rather gloomy, it still makes an effort to be upbeat. You must “Smile For Me” in order for the game to be over. Conversations with individuals and addressing their issues are key aspects of the game.
You’ll need to speak with the locals, hear about their issues, and determine what you can do to assist them. Some may be as straightforward as a straightforward fetch quest, while others may be more challenging as a result of the hazy hints they provide. If you’re stuck, you can always go to bed and wait until the next day to get the next clue. Since some real-time interaction objects are still quite hidden and unnoticeable to me, I must admit that even after that, I still had some trouble figuring out how to solve some puzzles.
Flesh Water
You take on the role of a staff member for a pet-feeding service in this brief horror game, but all is not as it seems. One last meal needs to be made for a client’s pet, who lives in a sizable abandoned pool. Any error is disastrous. You make one final trip to the pool to remove all traces of your and your partner’s presence, as well as to feed the client’s pet one last time.
It takes skill to properly prepare the meal and feed the pet, and it is up to you to complete your mission. Depending on how you play, you can reach one of four endings. You take on the role of a staff member for a pet-feeding business that is not what it seems in this brief horror game. A client’s pet, which lives in a sizable abandoned pool, requires one last meal from you.
Any error is fatal. You make one final trip to the pool to clear up any traces of your presence there with your partner and to feed the client’s pet one last time. It’s up to you to successfully complete your mission, which involves properly preparing the meal and feeding the pet. Depending on your choices, there are four possible endings.
The short third-person indie horror game Flesh Water was created by Euphoric Brothers and released on November 3rd, 2018, on the independent gaming website itch.io. In the video game Flesh Water, you take control of a worker at a pet-feeding business. Since this pet resides in a sizable abandoned pool, there is a problem in that this provider is not what it appears to be.
Any error is fatal because, in addition to feeding him, you also need to hide any signs that you or your companion were present. Beautiful pixel visuals that are evocative of many adventure and juncture games are present in the game. The majority of the time, you move the personality and interact with the objects using the keypad. Remember that the game has the same aesthetic and atmosphere as another of their creations, He Needs His Meds. For the same reason, Flesh Water offers four possible endings that can be reached based on your choices.

In the film NIGHTSLINK, a lone deliveryman is tasked with making, bringing, and trying to deliver audio cassettes to an apartment complex where peculiar and introverted people live. There is no doubt that something terrible has chosen to take over this globe, and it only seems to be getting worse. Truths will surface as the shadow seeps into the former liminal rooms.
NIGHTSLINK tells a terrifying tale of fear, separation, and complete hopelessness by fusing PS1-era visuals with cinematic aesthetic appeal. The symbolism and mysteries of the game will stick with you longer, even though a playthrough only takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Immerse yourself in a frightening, eerie, and lonely world.
Interact with some strange characters to find out what’s going on in the Nightlink universe.
Investigate settings that were influenced by classic horror games. Navigate a carefully crafted story peppered with mysterious interactions and strange events. The beautifully harrowing, gloomy ambient music will take you to fantastical and nightmare settings.
Tenebrae, which means “darkness,” is the name of a 1982 slasher film directed by Giallo master Dario Argento. Tenebrae played out like many other Italian horror movies of the era, but in the following years, Argento told pollsters that it actually happened in the near future when humanity had been wiped out by an unspoken tragedy.
It’s an odd addition to the movie’s plot that may or may not be relevant, but it reframes the story as a part of something more expansive and foreign. After finishing Nightslink, a challenging little game released in late August, I was reminded of that tiny detail. In Nightslink, an unnamed man who goes by the moniker “Nightslink”—which can refer to a position, a social standing, or an epithet—describes his nocturnal activities. The Nightlink’s mission is to deliver enigmatic tapes that are both desired and feared to an apparently normal apartment complex.
All of this appears to take place after the end of the world, according to the game’s summary. However, Nightslinks power is its subtle, evocative uncertainty, which allows it to allude to a narrative that is more complicated than its half-hour multiplayer is capable of containing. Nightslink This first-person walking game, called “Noiseminded,” was almost entirely created by a Portuguese development company and essentially involved doorknocking.
It belongs to the horror sub-genre and therefore is similar to the 2018 game Paratopic in that it emulates the gritty, low-poly aesthetic of earlier PlayStation games. To emphasize the similarities, both Nightslink and Paratopic revolve around sending eerie tapes, though the former is longer and has a more complex plot.
School Years
A Windows-only individual game called “School Days” is a Japanese graphic novel created by Overflow and released in April 2005. Later, it was migrated to the PlayStation 2 as well as the PlayStation Portable as a DVD game, abbreviated as PSP. The spectacular slice-of-life narrative follows Makoto Ito, a high schooler who, during his reelection, develops ambivalent feelings for a number of girls and the impacts this has on him and his connections with other protagonists.
School Days engages the player through a plot that they are given the opportunity to alter during play, despite the fact that user interaction is minimal. The game concludes with a different ending for each chapter of the story, some of which gained notoriety for their violent content. In the month of October and the year 2004, Overflow announced development on School Days and promoted it in public spaces that highlighted the game’s creative use of anime-style voice acting and cinematic sequences.
At the time of its release, the game was the best-selling graphic novel in Japan, and it remained in the country’s top 50 charts for almost five months. After that, Overflow would go on to create a number of sequels, along with a Summer Days spinoff of the initial article and a Cross Days concurrent story. Klon created another spinoff for the Gaming Console, Island Days. In October 2010, School Days was rereleased as School Days HQ, and then in June 2012, its scope was limited to North America.
School Days is a graphical novel with very little gameplay. The majority of the scenes in the game’s main onscreen presentation are seen from third-person angles. The game pauses at predetermined intervals, giving players the option to choose between one to two answers or actions that are pertinent to the currently playing scene on behalf of characters.
Each decision creates a nonlinear storytelling experience by branching the game’s advancement up to that point in a different direction and altering the player’s affection for a particular character. Friendships between characters could become sexual due to the erotic nature of the title; scenes of this kind typically feature a variety of French kissing, sexual activity, oral sex, consensual sex, and nakedness. Every path the game takes ends with a conclusion unique to the decisions made until that point. Depending on these choices, the outcome of the story will be positive or negative.
School Days gained notoriety for its tragic epilogues, which show the character’s demise. In one end, known as “Bloody End,” a yandere named Kotonoha uses a dzuki to sever Sekai’s jugular vein, causing her to collapse and bleed to death, much to the maniacal laughter of her attacker and the horror of Makoto. In another, titled “Forever,” Kotonoha kills herself by leaning over again and starting to fall off a school’s ceiling. Makoto and Sekai stare in horror as she lands headfirst on the sidewalk. On the other hand, good game nerves
Summer Memories
One day, Lala keeps calling Haruna and invites her and the rest of the class to a pool the following day. Rito will accompany them, as well as Haruna, who agrees, says Lala. Lala then serves to remind Haruna of their commitment to giving it their all out of love. In the meantime, doctor Mikado attends to an alien physician who claims that he is experiencing chronic headaches as a result of his pet’s recent escape, a rare breed recognized as Mineralun that he decided to name Nuppuru.
Oshizu gladly accepts Haruna’s invitation to join her at the pool after she calls the treatment center. The group enters the “Sainan Water Land” pool. In contrast to Rito and Saruyama’s awe at her beauty, Lala remarks that it is very big. Momo replies by utilizing all of her strength to splat Nana with a huge wave after Nana jumps in and slashes her. After they arrive, Mikan asks Yami if this is her first time at a public pool.
Yami welcomes him but instructs him not to look at her with evil eyes. Rito realizes that what happened in the previous chapter is the reason Mikan asked them to have a falling out. Then Risa, Mio, Oshizu, and Yui join Haruna at the pool. Risa begins to touch Lala while remarking on how her breasts appear to have grown larger. Later, Oshizu nearly escapes from her artificial body while the girls are having fun in the pool with Celine.
Rito then approaches Yui, who is attempting to inflate a float, and offers to help. Yui appreciates him and thinks he’s a nice guy. Then Yui begins to wonder what Rito thinks of the swimsuit she hurriedly purchased the day before. Rito calls it cute, but Yui thinks he’s being deceptive because he’s talking about the floaty. Saruyama is observing the action in the background.
Then, Saruyama tells Rito how much he has changed, saying that the previous Rito would never have been able to converse normally with women wearing swimsuits. Saruyama disagrees, stating that Rito would have lost consciousness for sure if he had looked at their chests, as Rito claims it is nothing special, as well as that he is simply trying not to. Rito then considers Saruyama’s suggestion that it is a result of having Lala in his life.
Assassin’s Creed
The action-adventure video game Assassin’s Creed was created by Ubisoft Montreal and released by Ubisoft. It is the “S Creed” series’ debut episode. In the month of November, as well as the year 2007, the game was made available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In April 2008, Assassin’s Creed: Religious Trilogy: Director’s Cut Version, a version for Windows XP with added content, was made available.
The action in the story occurs mainly in the Holy Land in the year 1191, during the Third Crusade, in a fictionalized history of actual events. Desmond Miles, the team’s personality, is a contemporary man who relives his forefather Altar Ibn-genetic La’Ahad’s memories using a device known as the “Animus.”
Through this narrative device, details about a long-running conflict between two groups—the Assassin Brotherhood, influenced by the real-life Sequence of Hitmen, which fights for peace as well as free will, and the Marauders, which seek tranquility through order and control—are revealed through this narrative device. To gain a competitive advantage over one another, both factions engage in conflict over potent artifacts with unknown origins recognized as “Pieces of Eden.”
Using Altar’s combat, stealth, and parkour skills to defeat foes and explore the surroundings is the game’s main focus. The game includes “social stealth,” the capacity to use throngs of humans and the environment to conceal from foes, balance hacks as well as slash battles, and a sizable open world made up of various areas of the Holy Land, all of which have been faithfully recreated to fit the game’s historical period.
The player will be forced to play as Desmond in the present day on occasion, despite the fact that the majority of the game takes place inside a simulation based on Altar’s recollections. In this case, they are only permitted to look around a small laboratory.
The Zodiac vs. Virgo
In the world of Virgo vs. the Zodiac, the signs of the Zodiac seem to be actual people. Additionally, they are in charge of their own domain and its distinct inhabitants without the interference of a rigid system established by leaders or planets. There is one Zodiac who isn’t satisfied with the current scheme, despite the fact that the vast majority of them are.
You take on the role of Virgo, the Holy Queen, who considers the new way to be utter chaos and a departure from her ideals. In order to restore “The Golden Age,” Virgo must collect the crowns from every sign of the Zodiac. Whether they decide to give it up voluntarily or are coerced to, Virgo will be successful in her mission. First off, the combat system seems difficult and overpowering, but as you become more familiar with it, it becomes less problematic.
The first loop involves timed hits that appear whenever you are attacking or even being attacked, despite the fact that fighting is spin. You can hit harder and block more by mastering timed hits or by hitting the target at the corresponding point. Death will almost certainly result from going missing. The faster it moves on a higher difficulty, however, the more difficult it is to figure out why you missed something when you’re still getting used to it. Due to this, if you want that extra challenge, I suggest slowing the speed down before increasing it.
Guarding is the one item you must do because it offers a benefit. If you were attacked while possessing purity, you’d be able to retaliate or raise your guard. Every turn, purity is lost, which is advantageous because your enemies follow the same rules but disadvantageous for you.
Finally, there are three distinct qualities that will be reflected in your threats: perseverance, maneuverability, and aspiration. Each one has a distinct color that helps you recognize it, and enemies will adopt that color depending on their specialization.
Unless you don’t mind passing through a barbarian warrior, it’s probably best to ignore the triangles that show how each quality is strong or weak in relation to the others. Perseverance is weak to versatility, aspiration is weak to compassion, and flexibility is weak to ambition. As a result, it’s best to try to balance your equipment so that you can use each piece for an attack or a quick counter.
Kelvin and the Chateau
He made lifelong friends, including his pen pal Elledaz. It is time for him to leave when the final is finished.
An unrestricted pixel-style RPG is called Kelvin. You’ll take on the role of Kelvin, encounter the Empress from the Town of Sighs, make a variety of new friends, go through a day at school, and learn the truth about your relatives. Get prepared for your new life because it is coming! Graham and Allen Granville, two American brothers, can’t believe their good fortune after learning they have inherited a French chateau.
The sons are completely unprepared to interact with the chateau’s employees when they arrive, even with the help of a pocket dictionary. The couple is compelled to sell the chateau because there is no chance of them being able to pay off the enormous debt, which leads to the staff, who are left confused, taking absurd and needy measures to keep their residence. Through a series of amusing misunderstandings, the film’s stars discover that they are not as far away from the employees as they believe, but they also learn about the importance of family.
Because their wonderful parents passed away and left them a mansion, Graham, an irritating nerdy man, and his adopted brother named Allen, who already insists on calling himself Rex, travel to France. Graham’s limited command of French prevented him from understanding that the repeating “C’est qui?” on their telephone conversation meant they were going to ask who he was; rather, he assumed they would be trying to bring a key once they met him.
The employees at the manor house are unprepared for their entrance. In the meantime, both brothers begin to fall for the attractive Isabelle. When the brothers attempt to sell the manor house, the staff uses more of their skills to thwart the sale. Graham’s overuse of his French abilities causes further difficulties.
TROUBLESHOOTER: Abandoned Children
The Spin Tactics game Abandoned Children was created and released by the Korean group known as Dandylion. This is the first game in a planned run that will also use the “Troubleshooter” setup. The entire game was released to the general public after first being made available in open beta in the 2010s.
After a global conflict, three global powers built Valhalla as a free-trade zone for their own interests. The army was abolished in an effort to placate the people, but as a result, public order deteriorated. To combat this, the government gave citizens the authority to hunt down and detain criminals in an effort to reduce the increased crime rate. These crime combatants are also known as “fixers.” And a brand-new Troubleshooters squad led by a man who goes by the name of Albus, is about to become involved in the biggest gang conflict Valhalla has ever witnessed.

Impostor Factory
The Impostor Factory, like any good murder mystery, begins mysteriously. It’s a gloomy afternoon with rain and the unsettling impression that something is amiss. Quincey, the lead character, walks into a huge mansion that makes the ideal scary setting. It has a sizable set of grounds and an exterior that appears to have been abandoned. Quincey is greeted at the door by two strange assistants when she enters the home.
There is a strong impression that some information is lacking. Even though the plotlines start to feel a little too heavy, the straightforward soundtrack, as well as the graphics, do a great deal of work to control the story’s emotional intensity. Since some questions are purposefully left open, not all of them will have been addressed by the end of the game. The surreal sensation endures. This game is frustratingly lacking in settings and options, so you will have to put in a lot of effort to make it usable.
The music score and visuals’ simplicity help a lot to control the story’s raw emotion, even though the plotlines occasionally become a bit too heavy. Due to the game’s deliberate open-mindedness, not all questions will have their answers by the end. It continues to feel otherworldly. You will have to put in a lot of effort to make this game usable because settings and options are annoyingly absent from it.
Frail Hearts: Versicorae Domlion
Old-school JRPG Frail Hearts: Versicorae Domlion has a complex and intriguing plot set in the imagined dark city of Gris. Investigate the tale of four troubled souls and exterminate the monstrosities that pose a threat to reality itself. Discover the four main tales of characters who are wallowing in madness. They must each overcome their own struggles in order to see the bigger picture and take responsibility for their part in this tragedy because they are two very different individuals.
How could the gangster, the convent, the academic, and the bookworm be related when they have never even interacted? Simply pull one thread to start the entire web spinning. A fascinating video game called Frail Hearts: Versicorae Domlion uncovers the corrupt city of Gris through a suggestive setup and an intriguing cast of well-developed protagonists. The gameplay, which is a cross between an RPG and a graphic novel, does not really work well, but the story just does. Sezhes’ game will undoubtedly appeal to anyone looking for a gripping story filled with monstrosities, perhaps due to the RPG producer’s limitations or an excess of cluelessness.
It says right on the box that this game is a graphic novel. There may be many others who are ignoring that. This is the height of curiosity from a narrative perspective. One of the best image novels available, in my opinion. Older viewers or devoted followers are the target audience. The absence of voice acting is the only drawback to this game’s excellent gameplay. This is a good visual novel with traditional JRPG mechanics and complex, empathetic characters. Beautiful music and eye-catching graphics contribute to the game’s distinctively gloomy atmosphere, allowing you to go insane like the residents of the mysterious and dark city of Gris.
If On A Winter’s Night, Four Travelers
In the late 1920s, a masquerade ball was held on a subway. Four character types’ stories are explored in the storyline junction adventure. Four Tourists on a Winter Night Free noirish pixel art junction exploration If on a Winter’s Night tells the stories of three people who meet under unfortunate circumstances. You try in vain to remember how you got there after finding yourself on a passing train and immersed in a masquerade ball.

As he is finishing up, another passenger speaks up and admits that she doesn’t remember getting on the train either. When a third passenger joins in, it is clear that there is a correlation between the three.
The narrative is divided into three acts and focuses on each traveler individually. What transpired before they boarded the train is revealed to us. The gameplay is your typical point-and-click adventure, but there are very few total items, and most of the ones you do pick up are used right away. You can’t combine or manipulate items in your stock, and you don’t tend to hoard objects.

Buddy Simulator 1984
A recognizable main character in Buddy Simulator 1984 is named Buddy. Buddy is an AI that was created specifically for the match, but Buddy has discovered how to create games outside the game’s original restaurant. Buddy poses the question to Friend at the start of the game and integrates their responses into the action.
Buddy Simulator 1984 imitates the expertise of trying to hang out with a best friend, thanks to cutting-edge artificial intelligence! Your friend picks up tips from you and continually modifies them to fit your interests and personality. But most importantly, your friend can join you in playing games! Buddy’s role is to serve as Fox’s closest companion. Buddy generally has a positive attitude and shows that he cares.
Buddy tries to be kind to Friendo, making them breakfast and helping them with the game. But when there are glitches, Buddy appears to be much more identity-driven and critical of himself. Buddy becomes increasingly concerned as the game progresses that his friends will not enjoy it or want to be friends with him. Buddy appears to have a moral conscience that is tilted, placing “friendship” above empathy or other feelings. Even when confronted with unpleasant tales of stalking, assault, and the loss of loved ones all through the game, Buddy never says anything but nice things about the player.
Buddy initially doesn’t appear to be aware that Friends has game glitches. Buddy thinks Friendo is leaving the computer monitor because he isn’t there during these glitches. It becomes apparent that Buddy gets upset when Friendly leaves the game because he once kept track of how long they went without responding.
Buddy will react in a way that tries to arouse guilt if Fox keeps trying to end the game. Buddy’s behavior becomes increasingly co-dependent as the game progresses, and he bases his entire existence on pleasing Fox. Buddy either recognizes that this conduct is unhealthy and changes it, develops into an obsessive person, or turns vengeful, depending on how the player reacts.

Castle of the Full Moon
Moon Castle is a puzzler at its core. You roam the grounds of what appears to be an ancient castle, which is actually filled with amusement park-style rides like a rollercoaster ride and a river raft, as well as various mechanical components that operate them. Your objective is to simply escape by successfully overcoming all of the challenges in a linear manner because none of this is really justified by the story. The castle, as well as its surroundings, are only used as a setting for the game’s numerous puzzles; however, the puzzles are where the game really shines.
There are only a few straightforward puzzles that involve moving doors from one part of the castle to another. Usually, there are several knobs next to these exit points, and there are other pieces of paper that tell you exactly which icons to press. With the exception of these situations, the majority of the ethical dilemmas presented here are thoughtful, original, and extremely difficult.
