What Happened To Simple Kapadia?
Simple Kapadia passed away after battling cancer for three long years. She was 51 years old. Simple suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed by her elder sister Dimple to the hospital.
Dimple Kapadia has been extremely caring towards her sister during her battle with cancer. Close sources even revealed that the actress did not take much acting work to take care of her ailing sister, Simple. While Simple’s life was cut short due to the fatal disease, the late actress and designer managed to leave a mark behind.

Was Simple Kapadia Married?
Simple Kapadia was reportedly married to Rajinder Singh Shetty. The two welcomed son Karan Kapadia. Simple Kapadia’s sister is Dimple Kapadia. Simple Kapadia’s son Karan has further recalled how he and his aunt, Dimple grew closer after Mom fell ill as Simple Kapadia was diagnosed with cancer back in 2006.
Karan recalled how he was just 11 and too young to do anything about the situation. He praised his aunt, saying the actress liked after him and even had him and Simple move in with her. Dimple Kapadia was recently seen enjoying Karan Kapadia’s new single, Tere Bina, which has been recently released.
While remembering his mother, Karan stated in an early interview that his mother taught him some great values, and what he learned from her the most is that it is never too late to redefine yourself. Karan recalled how Simple Kapadia did 15-20 films but later chose to explore something completely different and sort of mastered it into something inspirational. Karan remembered his later mother as someone who was an incredibly kind and generous human being and believed that he was nowhere close to the level.
Did Simple Kapadia Work With Rajesh Khanna?
In an early interview in 1977, Simple Kapadia admitted that she felt rather uncomfortable while working with her then-brother-in-law, Rajesh Khanna. While talking about her debut movie, Simple state’s that it is not a movie like Bobby, and she can never even be compared to it while adding that she can never be another Dimple. Simple earlier admitted that she was quite uncomfortable working with the iconic actor as it was seemingly funny seeing him so different in front of a camera.
Simple Kapadia explained that before she started actual shooting with Rajesh Khanna, she thought it would be a great moral support to have somebody known, but she became quite nervous, as she was acting opposite a far more experienced actor. However, she praised the actor, saying he was helpful and sensed her discomfort, and he, too, was not feeling comfortable enough to tell her when she made a mistake!
