The major reason behind Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s break up was his abusive behavior. It was not just verbal but physical and emotional too. The actress was tired of his violence. Aishwarya further stated that he was highly addicted to alcohol which she hated.
The speculation of Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s break up came up after the two got spotted at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) fashion event in Mumbai. Fans noticed it as they made it to the same frame after several years. Everyone recalled that the two once had shared a romance. So, why did they part ways?
It was Aishwarya who took the initiative to call it quits. But, Salman refused to accept it initially. Moreover, when she didn’t pick up his calls, the Ek Tha Tiger actor used to hound her and threatened physical harm to himself.
Back in 2000, Aishwarya Rai won the award for “Best Actress” at Filmfare Awards. That was because of her amazing performance in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
