Anime Review – The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 7

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 7
The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 7

The Promised Neverland Season 2 has entered an interesting phase with the appearance of Norman once again. The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 7 has confirmed Norman’s plans towards his eradication of all demons. Norman appeared and rescued Ray and Emma as demons almost killed them. After this, Norman invited them to his hideout. But this was after he went and saw how the rest of the Gracefield kids were doing.

Normal quickly discussed his plans with the Gracefield escapees. Still, Emma was not okay with what Norman intends to do. In the meantime, she talked to Ray about it; Ray figured out that it would be better to visit Norman. This was the beginning of what will be the first retaliation by the kids against the demons. Hopefully, we will get more action as season 2 has relaxed a bit ever since its debut.

We have seen Ray, Emma, and their siblings try to escape from the demons. It was easy for them since they had practiced their escape drills over and over again. But this was not enough for them to safely survive in the wild as all they know was how to escape only. They came across Soji and Mujika, the rare demons who vowed not to eat humans due to their religious beliefs. After that, it was Norma’s part; he has already established his own stronghold in the demon world and has many allies adept at fighting demons.

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 8 continues with more of this next week. It seems like Norman has a different side to him. The episode will stream online on Funimation and Crunchyroll as usual.

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 7: Norman’s True Colors

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 7

Ever since he appeared in the recent episodes, something seemed off about Norman. His motives seem to be too brutal. He told Emma and her siblings that he was held captive as a lab rat in a specific facility. But upon arriving there, he escaped with the other kids, who now revere and follow him. So Norman now appears as the absolute leader, and the last episode has shown us how much stronger they are.

Soji and Mujika are now known as evil-blooded demons because they can survive without eating humans. But Norman seems to have an unresolved vendetta with them. He is currently playing with his fellow siblings to get to Soji and Mujika so that he can kill them all. This is very strange of him, given that he had just thought of betraying his siblings and had lied to them.

He made a deal with Emma and Ray, that if they bring Mujika and Soji to him in five days, he will reconsider his plans of killing all the demons. So this was the promise between Norman and Emma. Still, Norman told his followers that he wouldn’t go along with it and only wants to find and kill Soji and Mujika.

He seemed determined, and he is also suffering from the side effects of the treatment he received in the labs. It seems to be the same for everyone, and they have pills that reduce the side effects. So Norman might not have much time left to live and would want to execute his plan as soon as possible. It is more likely that he will be betraying his siblings based on his collection of different body parts of the demons he keeps in his hideout. So this might be the begging of the fierce battles that will soon come.

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 8 and Updates.

The upcoming episodes of the anime will see how Emma intends to locate Mujika and Soji; then, she will have to convince them to meet with Norman. Then that will be the beginning of what could be an exciting battle. Soji and Mujika seemed skilled in combat and have survived for long in the wild. They seem to be on the run, so obviously, they are also experienced in battle, just like what we saw when they rescued Emma and the kids.

So if they meet up with Norman, then an intense battle is likely to break out. This will mean a sudden change in how things have been going. But we will find out more bit by bit as each episode comes out. For the latest updates about all anime releasing episodes this week, you can check our weekly anime news.
