He can see demons and is the only one in the town who can do this. Also, when he was a kid, he saw the demon that killed his mother.

Sell Your Haunted House
Ji-ah is a reality business owner with a business partner, Joo Hwa Jung, working at their headquarters for Daebak Realty. It is spooky but, at the same time, awesome. The headquarters is in the basement, and Ji Ah lives upstairs with a ghost of her mother.
She has an unnatural exorcist power that she uses to earn a living. Ji Ah finds properties that are abandoned and occupied by spirits.
She performs an exorcism on the place and makes it ghost-free. After the procedure, she sells that ghost-free property to a client. When the drama begins, we learn that Ji Ah’s power is insufficient as she needs a helper.
So, she needs a weak person which the spirit can easily enter. Once the spirit enters the human body, Ji Ah fights with that spirit and drags a knife into that person’s heart.
Island
Another thrilling drama series similar to Revenant could be Island. It is an action-packed drama series where an immortal human has one motto: to save the world from all the strong evil spirits. A noble-hearted priest who knows exorcism power well joins in the fight, and a Chaebol heiress gets dragged into all these fights.
At first, the lady had no idea, but gradually, she became an important part of the fight. The three try to finish all the evil demons with all their bravery, brains, and strength to save the world.
The story starts when demons and monsters attack a unique Island, Juju, and the locals have to kill and offer forty-six kids’ blood to god to save their land.
Tomorrow
Tomorrow can be a good choice after Revenant if you want something lighter than a horror series. The storyline starts with showing the protagonists, Gu Ryeon and Im Ryong Koo. They bravely stop a group of people as they are about to make a suicide pact.
Choi Jun Woong is a struggling protagonist of the series who fails yet another job interview because of nepotism. This guy is having horrible thoughts while crossing a bridge.
Also, he questions his existence and feels sorry for himself. Ryeon and Ryong are continuously watching a guy from a distance, but he is not Choi Jun but another person who needs help.
The random guy is looking to jump off the bridge, and the moment Jun Woong sees it, he tries to pull that guy. However, the reapers, Ryong and Ryeon, enter the scene. This is how the reapers and Choi meet.
The Guest
Yoon Hwa Pyung is a psychic, and he can see ghosts. He belongs to a Shaman family and is positively calm. In the village where he lives, a person is possessed by a very powerful spirit, Park II Do.
When Yoon makes eye contact with that person, the spirit travels to Yoon’s body. After that, his mother dies mysteriously, and his beloved grandmother commits suicide. No one knows what’s happening, but Yoon Hwa’s father blames Yoon Hwa for the losses.
Soon, they realize that they need a priest to resolve the problem. Priest Yang arrives and performs an exorcism on Yoon Hwa’s body, but the spirit is too smart.
Yoon Hwa whispers that he has something important to say, so Priest Yang leans, and the spirit travels to the priest’s body through his ears. The drama will not give you a second to think about the previous scene. You should add it to your wishlist.
Sweet Home
Sweet Home is a must-watch after Revenant. You will love the series for sure. The storyline, the casting, and the cinematography are just on the next level. Cha Hyun Soo, a suicidal high school student, is the protagonist, and he moves into an apartment that gives spooky vibes.
Well, he is all alone as he lost his parents and is an introvert. In the first episode, the series introduces us to some characters. Soon after the introduction, a security guard appears.
A lady offers him a container for dinner, and everything changes when he opens it. Gradually, the monster’s count starts growing. There are a few things, but one most important thing I noticed is that the series focuses on the power of motherhood.
A mother who lost her child saves other kids even if she is infected. Also, there’s a pregnant firefighter, but she is one of the heroes in the series. At first, you will get spooky vibes from the gangster and the silent mother, but as the story continues, you will have immense respect for the same. You will not only enjoy but experience the heights of thrills.
Oh No! Here Comes Trouble
Oh No! Here Comes Trouble has a great plot and an amazing casting. The story is fun to watch, and the actors are very much into their characters, making the story more lively. Some scenes are humorous, and some will leave you in deep thought. The series is Taiwanese, and the first episode introduces us to the characters.
The main character is Pu Yi Yong, who is fun-loving and lively in the series, making the scenes more realistic. Another character you would meet is a rookie policewoman, Chen Chu Ying.
She is quite straightforward in the series, but there are some hilarious scenes in which she is the center of attraction. Watch the series; you will find it worth rewatching.
All of Us Are Dead
Another series that I would like to personally recommend to you. All of Us Are Dead is a super hit series that received endless positive responses from every corner of the map. It is one of the best series in the zombie genre.
A zombie outburst occurs in a school because of a stupid experiment by a science student. A group of students, the lead characters, gets stuck in the same school. They do all they could have done to escape the infected area.
You might find yourself on a rollercoaster ride of emotions in this series. There are endless thrills and emotional scenes between mother-son, boyfriend-girlfriend and father-daughter.
The government is trying its best to eliminate the zombies but taking the least care of the ones that might be safe. The group of kids did their best to escape, and they were successful, but the city behind them was destroyed completely.
Possessed
The series takes you to 1995, where we see a woman lying on the floor of a filthy abandoned countryside building. She suddenly wakes up and tries to drag herself to her purse but can not make it. An eerie whistling echoes down the corridor.
Well, the whistling man is a serial killer, but worry not as a car of detectives parks beside the building, but the detectives are carefully taking steps.
The serial killer plays a song and warns the woman that death is coming her way. He takes out his murder weapons and starts telling something to the woman.
He concludes by saying – Your heart will be at ease. The woman begs for her life, but soon, the detectives enter the scene. The series has much to offer from here on, so you should try it after Revenant.
Kingdom
Another thrilling yet amazing series, Kingdom. You are missing out on something great if you haven’t watched Kingdom yet. Kingdom is yet another series that I would like to recommend.
Without giving any spoilers, I will review it just for you. The series is a manga adaptation, again a zombie one. The storyline is based on the era of Kings and kingdoms where the throne was everything and every noble person wanted it.
A strange disease outburst occurs, and the king of Joseon is confined in the king’s palace. The ministers say he suffers from smallpox, but the reality is different.
The politics played by the evil ministers will leave you in shock for a moment. However, the crown prince is the only one with a heart of gold in the palace who tries his best to save people even if he has nothing to eat.
There are a few people who help the crown prince till their last breath. You will surely ask for more when you will finish watching the series.
The Cursed
The Cursed is a good series with a light mood storyline, not as intense as the zombie ones. Let’s have a look! In the countryside or mountains, a mother lives with her child and practices Shamanism.
Her child, So Jin, is special because a powerful spirit possesses her. So Jin can curse, and people go crazy to hear about such power.
Therefore, anyone who holds grudges for someone would come to So Jin and ask her to curse that person. So Jin’s mother starts making money out of it.
One night, when So Jin and her mother finish their deal and arrive home, they see unexpected visitors at their doorsteps. Their settled life changes from here on, and you must watch what happens next.
The Ghost Detective
The Ghost Detective can be one of the best recommendations in the list of dramas similar to Revenant. Jung Yeo Wool’s younger sister died a long time ago. She decides to work in a detective agency.
Since the agency is private, she secures a place as an assistant. The young girl is determined to find out who was the reason behind her younger sister’s death.
She gets along with Lee Da IL for work, but she only knows that he is a spirit. You will see a weird lady in red besides the main characters.
According to the detectives, this lady is exceptionally related to all the suicide cases in the town. Sun Woo Hye is the lady’s name, and she is the mystery in the drama.
Hotel del Luna
Hotel Del Luna is a series that is not designed to haunt you. The makers put their unique creativity into the story that there will be a hotel for ghosts. Yes, there’s a hotel in the series that is for those ghosts who are on their way to the afterlife. The series is fantastic and gives way to the fantasy world.
You will find the lead characters way too much into their roles. Each scene appears very realistic because of the cinematography and the amazing casting.
Horror stories mostly lean more in the horror direction, but this story leans less on such a part. In short, we would love to recommend such a heartwarming, pleasing, romantic, and amazing series to you.
Black
Black is a fantasy thriller that will take you to another world full of mysteries, spine-chilling scenes, and much more. The series starts with a scene showing a man walking slowly to the cliff and jumping off.
He swims and arrives close to a car covered with dirt and aquatic plants. He breaks the glasses and enters the car. To his shock, he sees a passenger or a corpse sitting in the seat. He says – Is It Me?
Well, a man in the series can see and interact with the death. You can watch Black after Revenant if you want to continue to experience high thrills and mysterious scenes.
