Following her divorce from Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna faced huge ups and downs with her husband and his renowned family, including a lengthy court fight. Chyna and Kardashian first revealed their connection in January 2016. After three months of dating, the couple got engaged and revealed that they were expecting their first child together. From September to December 2016, their romance was filmed for their E! reality series, Rob & Chyna.

After the program was extended for a second season, the sock designer announced the couple’s divorce on social media. Despite the on-again, off-again romance, E! announced in July 2017 that production on Rob & Chyna would be “on pause.”

The network stated that the spinoff has “not been in production for several months” and that they will “follow the family’s lead” on what to do next.

Later that year, Chyna sued the Kardashians for allegedly meddling with the future of her reality program. Lynne Ciani, the rapper’s attorney, subsequently provided an update on Chyna’s plans to continue the court battle.

“Blac Chyna will seek millions in compensatory and punitive damages from Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Kardashian for defamation, intentional interference with contract, and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage,” Ciani said in an October 2020 statement to Us Weekly. “Chyna is overjoyed that she will get her day in court.”

At the time, the lawyer claimed that Chyna’s reality TV career had been “permanently harmed” as a result of the Kardashians. Two months later, a judge ordered Bunim/Murray Production, the production firm behind Rob & Chyna, to turn over any unaired season 2 video.

Chyna and Rob’s relationship made news once more in March 2022, when the singer claimed she was not receiving child support. “I had to give up three of my automobiles yesterday… my reasons were morality, values, being a single mother with no help.” “I’m a MAMA,” Chyna, who has son King with ex Tyga and daughter Dream with Rob, tweeted at the time.

What Motivated Blac Chyna to File the Lawsuit? Chyna alleged in court docs in 2017 that the Kardashian family was to blame for the loss of her reality show with Rob.

Which Kardashians Were Mentioned in the Lawsuit?

Kris, Khloé, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner were the names given to the TV personality. In documents acquired by Us in October 2017, Chyna claimed that she and her then-fiancé had planned to film the second season of Rob & Chyna before the renowned family used their “power and influence over the E! network to cancel the second season.”

Chyna alleged in February 2017 that the Kardashians phoned E! to “demand the network not proceed with the second season of Rob & Chyna.”

What Did the Kardashians Say?

A judge refused the renowned family’s plea to dismiss the lawsuit in October 2020. The judgment was made based on “significant evidence” provided by Chyna in the form of an unaired video from the show’s second season.

Does Blac Chyna want to pursue the lawsuit further?

“I aim to re-focus my attention on my trial against Kris Jenner and her kids Kim, Khloe, and Kylie, which begins in 13 days,” Chyna said regarding the trial in April 2022.

‘KUWTK’ Could Be Used as Evidence.

According to sources, the defendants have presented video evidence from Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Rob & Chyna, including portions of Rob discussing his relationship with Chyna and the famous family gathering.

The Judgement

The jury sided with Kris, Kim, Khloé, and Kylie when the Kardashian-Jenner family arrived at the Met Gala on May 2. As a consequence, Chyna received no monetary compensation, and the case was dropped. Us announced in June 2022 that the Kardashian-Jenner family demanded that Chyna pay them $391,094.76 in trial fees.
