Married at First Sight is an American reality series that focuses on two strangers meeting for the first time on the day of their marriage and then navigating their compatibility and love for each other in a set period. After the set period of time is over, the couples decide whether they want to continue being married to each other or prefer to go their separate ways.
The series started on a similar concept as a reality television series in Danish titled Gift Ved Forste Blik. Chris Coelen and Eric Detwiler produced the series. The series had the viewers hooked on the series, and it successfully ran for 16 Seasons. Kinetic Content is the production company that produced the series, and it first premiered on July 8, 2014. The viewers found the series’ concept unique, and it was interesting to see whether their favorite couple made it or did they decide to get a divorce.
The 11 seasons featured five couples, Amelia Fatsi, a physician, and Bennett Kirschner, an artistic company director; Olivia Cornu, a nurse practitioner and Brett Lindsey, an AWS practitioner; Karen Landry, a human resource consultant; and Miles Williams, youth educator, Amani Smith, non-profit field, and Woody Randall, a teacher, and Christiana Croce, a flight attendant and Henry Rodriguez, a clinical recruiter. Out of the five couples, three decided to continue with their marriage, and one decided to go their separate ways.
The 12th Season of the series had five couples, Haley Harris, an account executive; Jacob Harter, a senior IT Analyst; Paige Banks, an accountant; Chris Williams, a finance manager; Brian Myles, an engineer and Vincent Morales, an auto broker, Clara Berghaus, a flight attendant, and Ryan Oubre, a project manager, and Virginia Coombs, an account coordinator, and Erik Lake, a pilot.
Out of the couple, three agreed to continue their marriage, and two decided to go their separate ways. The 13th season had five couples Michela Clark, a realtor, and Zack Freeman, who worked in finance; Rachel Gordillo, a special education evaluator, and Jose San Miguel, a mission flight specialist; Bao Huong Huong, a research administrator; Johnny Lam, an IT project manager, Myrla Feria, a leadership coach, Gil Cuero, a firefighter, and Brett Layton, a teacher, and Ryan Ignasiak, worked in oil & gas liaison.

Married At First Sight Couples Now
As the seasons go on, it leaves the series’ viewers curious about where the couples from the previous seasons are. Viewers often wonder where their favorite couple is or if they are still together. The 11th season premiered on July 15, 2020, and it introduced us to the couples from New Orleans. The couples in the season were paired with strangers the experts felt would be a perfect match for each other.
Woody and Mills made history by being the first pair of best friends who applied to the series at the same time and were accepted to feature in it. Woody got paired with Amani, and they were successful in making their relationship work, while the same happened for his friend Mills.

The 12th Season premiered on January 13, 2021, and introduced the viewers to couples in Atlanta. The series was the first time featuring someone who was looking for a second chance at love as their first marriage had failed.
Out of the five couples, three decided to continue their marriage, while two decided to go on their separate ways. The couples in this season tried hard by giving their relationship a genuine chance before making the decision of whether they would continue being married or break up.
Erik Lane and Virginia Coombs
Lane was one of the most loved guys in the series, and he got paired with Virginia. The couple had a rocky start with differences in views, but the couple decided to continue being married on the decision day. The couple has since broken up and divorced after the series filming wrapped. The couple decided their personal problems were bigger than they expected and ended their marriage in 2021.
Ryan Qubre and Clara Berghaus
The couple met each other on the day they were to marry, as in the reality series format. The couple had many ups and downs in their relationship and decided to work on being together by solving the issues between them. The couple decided to continue being married on the decision day, but they became another couple who gave up on their marriage and divorced within months of their initial decision.

The 13th Season premiered on July 21, 201, and introduced the viewers to couples from Houston. This was the first season of the series with no successful match. All the couples featured in the series either ended their marriage on the decision day or ended the relationship after the filming of the series wrapped up.
The couples gave their all before calling it quits due to different reasons. The couple had a unique personality. This season did form several bonds of friendship between strangers.
Brett Layton and Ryan Ignasiask
The couple as an individual were nice people, but together they seemed to bring out the worst in the other. The couple had their fair share of fights, ups, and downs before they decided to separate on the decision day by ending their marriage. Brett has since been enjoying her life and making TikTok videos.
Jose San Miguel and Rachel Gordillo

The couple met in a similar set-up as their co-contestants, but it was one of the worst matches done by the experts. They were polar apart and toxic towards each other, thus making it difficult for the fans to vote for them. The couple mutually decides to end their marriage on the decision day.
Since their split, Zack has continued to work as a software engineer; Michael, on the other hand, is trying to heal from the damage the series caused to her mental health and self-esteem. Michael got painted as the villain as she had little to no control over her emotions.
