The Indian biographical series, Rocket Boys is back with a brand-new season! After the immense success of its first season, the creators of the series decided on producing a second season, and the audience cannot hold their excitement any longer. Rocket Boys premiered its first season, consisting of 8 episodes, on February 4, 2022. After its release, the series was highly appreciated for its outstanding acting skills of the actors, narrative structure, and direction, along with the use of original footage of the past.

From the trailer of Rocket Boys Season 2, we can see that this season will be set in the period following the death of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Dr. Homi Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai will be coping with a variety of issues. It shows that Dr. Sarabhai and Dr. Bhabha have to face tough resistance from all directions, making their path to success.
The two must outsmart the United States, which is closely examining India’s aspirations. The two must also justify their strategy before the government and its agencies, claiming the necessity of both an Indian satellite program and a nuclear weapon.
The nation’s transition to Indira Gandhi as its Prime Minister is also hinted at in the trailer, as is Project Smiling Buddha, India’s first effective nuclear bomb test.
