Since the dawn of time, or at least when Pokémon GO was first release by Niantic, which means the company has been keeping a close eye on its audience.

Except how do we know this? Well have you noticed that Niantic are usually quick to resolve an issue such as bugs? It’s likely that they discovered the bugs through complaints on these forums.

But how can we be sure? According to a tweet by the official Niantic page, the company has been keeping an eye on all your comments, suggestions, complaints and any unusual reports that trainers have made on all sorts of forums.

The tweet specifically mentioned The Silph Road, a Pokémon GO forum on Reddit however, that doesn’t mean they aren’t looking at other forums as well.

But why is this information important to us? Well it means that if you are struggling with something, or have had a great idea to improve the game we love, Niantic see it themselves.

This means issues like bugs are resolved quicker and suggestions such as event ideas, are noticed and possibly taken into account.

This also means that we as a fandom have a lot of power, especially if Niantic are taking our suggestions into account, which they would be otherwise keeping tabs on forums would be pointless and a waste of time.

So if you have been expressing your struggles or you have been sharing your suggestions on how to make the game better, make sure you continue to do so as Niantic is watching.

Have you been using Pokémon GO forums? Or will you use them now that you know Niantic keeps an eye on them? Please let us know in the comments below.
