Hello PoGO folks!
Since the last update labeled v0.51.0, a lot of trainers have been experiencing a weird glitch that causes the game to freeze permanently upon launch, rendering some people unable to play the latest version of Pokemon GO. Read more about it here:
Until now, the only solution was to reinstall the game and wipe its cache, install the older, 0.49 version or pray that RNG gods will have mercy and will let you slip through the loading screen. However, a Reddit user “N4Y4R” claims that he has found another solution. Here’s a quick rundown of what he did in order to play the game:
“Enable data usage, DISABLE GPS location. Start your game, let it go after the loading screen. When your character is stuck in the middle of nothing, enable your gps.
This worked (apparently) for :
Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Moto G4, Moto X Pure Edition, Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia X, Redmi Note 3, One Plus 2, HTC M8.
This doesn’t work (apparently) for :
LG G4, LG V10, HTC One M9.”
So here it is trainers. If you experience any problems with the game freezing or crashing, try this method and let us now in the comments if it works or no. Good luck trainers!
