XngHan&Xoul are set to officially begin their activities in Japan with the release of their first Japanese single, “HIGH BEAM,” on September 30.
The project, led by XngHan, will introduce a new chapter of his musical activities to Japanese audiences through a three-track single combining R&B, dance and performance-focused elements.
The single will be released digitally at midnight on September 30, with all three songs becoming available across major music platforms.
At the same time, the music video for the title track “HIGH BEAM” will be released through the SMTOWN YouTube channel. The physical single is also being issued in multiple formats in Japan.
“HIGH BEAM” serves as the main track and is described as a medium-tempo R&B song built around rich synthesizer sounds and layered chorus harmonies.
Its lyrical message focuses on moving forward toward a dream without allowing the past to hold someone back, giving the song an uplifting direction while maintaining a polished R&B sound.
The release contains three songs in total: “HIGH BEAM,” “Who Knew?” and “Endless Journey.”
“Who Knew?” was released ahead of the full single on September 9, giving listeners an early introduction to the project.
The track is a dance song featuring a four-beat drum pattern and guitar elements, with Jimmy of Japanese group PSYCHIC FEVER contributing a rap verse.
The Japanese single represents more than simply another release for XngHan&Xoul.
It establishes the project in Japan while expanding the creative concept behind XngHan’s solo activities, which are designed around collaboration with artists and creators from different fields.
‘HIGH BEAM’ Brings a New Performance Concept to Japan
Performance is expected to be an important part of XngHan&Xoul’s Japanese debut.
For “HIGH BEAM,” XngHan will perform alongside four professional Japanese dancers, with the choreography emphasizing their coordination as a group.
This performance-based approach reflects the broader identity of XngHan&Xoul, which combines music with different creative disciplines.
XngHan&Xoul was established as an artist brand built around the idea of bringing XngHan together with creators known as “Xoul.”
These collaborators can come from areas including performance, styling, design and other creative fields.
Rather than functioning solely as a traditional solo-artist project, the concept allows different collaborators to participate depending on the particular project.
The official Japanese profile describes the “X” in XngHan&Xoul as representing limitless possibilities and crossover potential.

XngHan&Xoul Prepare for Japanese Debut Showcase
Following the release of “HIGH BEAM,” XngHan&Xoul will continue their Japanese activities with a debut showcase titled “IGNITE.”
The event is scheduled to take place at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo on October 4, giving fans an opportunity to experience the new project’s music and performance concept in a live setting.
The Japanese promotional schedule will continue beyond the showcase.
Official announcements have also revealed release-related events in Osaka on October 24 and Tokyo on November 1, further extending XngHan&Xoul’s activities surrounding the single.
The release of “HIGH BEAM” follows XngHan&Xoul’s previous work under the artist brand.
The project launched with “Waste No Time” in 2025 and subsequently released the “Glow” project in April 2026.
The new Japanese single now expands that discography while introducing the brand to another market.
With three songs, a new visual concept, collaborations with Japanese dancers and a dedicated showcase, “HIGH BEAM” represents a substantial introduction to XngHan&Xoul’s activities in Japan.
