Eddard Stark or Ned Stark is an imaginary character in the 1996 fantasy novel A Game of Thrones. The novel was written by George R. R. Martin. The same character is also part of Game of Thrones, which is HBO’s conversion of Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. In the series, Ned played the role of the lord of Winterfell, a historic citadel in the North of the imaginary continent of Westeros. The character is accepted as the main character in the novel and the first season of the TV series. But plot twists grip Ned at the end of the novel. The ending of the first season shocked both book readers and TV series viewers.
Ned is depicted by Sean Bean. In the first season of Game of Thrones, he was cast as a child by Sebastian Croft. The honest man was killed in Baelor in episode 9 of the first season. In a conference, Bean shared about what was going through his head time before Ned Stark lost his life, in a fierce scene that imported fans to what the program had in store for them. About shooting the scene, Bean shared, “It took like a total day or so to shoot it and you so you have to just keep attentive on the fact that you’re about to meet your death without coquetting.
I was very hot at the time, so that likely helped. And everybody else’s results were amazing — Cersei and the kids. It was very mobile with a lot of sadness in that scene. Then I lay my head inside the block, and I was ended for the day.”
“It was fearful and doubtfulness — that Joffrey altered his mind (about killing Ned) — and then departure and [realizing that he was] watching his daughter for the last time, Arya.” Sean added, “I was trying to reckon of all four things. It wasn’t just, ‘Oh God, I’m getting my head snipped off.’ Those mix of affections is what made it what it was, I assume.”
