UNO has expanded its growing lineup of crossover content with the release of a new Shovel Knight Cosmetic Pack for Nintendo Switch. The downloadable content lets players customize their matches with visuals, music, and character-themed items inspired by Yacht Club Games’ award-winning indie platformer.
The DLC is available now for $3.99 and joins UNO’s collection of licensed cosmetic collaborations, giving fans another way to personalize the classic card game without changing its gameplay.
Shovel Knight-themed customization comes to UNO
The new cosmetic pack transforms the look and feel of UNO by introducing ten exclusive items based on the Shovel Knight universe. Players can equip the complete set or combine individual items with other cosmetics to create a customized play space.
According to the official description, the pack lets players “bring the heroic world of Shovel Knight to your UNO matches” with “pixel-perfect art, a chiptune soundtrack, and iconic characters straight from the legendary 8-bit style action-adventure game.”
The DLC includes a 3D pixel-art game board set around a forest campfire, a themed card deck featuring 16 unique card designs, a classic chiptune music track from Shovel Knight, four character avatars, a matching avatar frame, and a new visual effect for Action and Wild Cards.
Originally released in 2014 by Yacht Club Games, Shovel Knight has become one of the most recognizable indie franchises of the past decade. The retro-inspired action platformer has appeared in numerous crossover events across the gaming industry, making its arrival in UNO another addition to its growing list of collaborations.
While the new DLC focuses entirely on cosmetic content, it offers longtime fans a fresh way to celebrate the franchise during multiplayer matches. Ubisoft has also released a trailer showcasing the themed board, character artwork, music, and other customization options included in the pack.
