TREASURE is gearing up for its next musical comeback with the release of its first teaser for the upcoming digital single ‘SHOCK.’

On October 26, 2026, YG Entertainment revealed the teaser video through the group’s official social media channels, giving fans an initial glimpse of the track’s powerful concept ahead of its scheduled release on November 2.

The short clip immediately establishes an intense atmosphere through dramatic visuals and a striking sound effect.

An apparent electric shock shakes the ground as smoke rises and debris scatters across the scene, creating a sense of impact and anticipation.

The repeated phrase “SHOCK SHOCK” provides the teaser’s defining audio element, offering listeners their first taste of the song’s signature sound.

The video concludes with the official ‘SHOCK’ logo and the release date, confirming that the new digital single will arrive at 6 PM KST on November 2.

The announcement marks TREASURE’s first new release in approximately five months, following the group’s fourth mini album, ‘NEW WAV,’ which came out in June.

With the countdown to the release now underway, the teaser has introduced a new chapter in the group’s musical activities and raised expectations for its next performance-focused track.

‘SHOCK’ Teaser Hints at TREASURE’s Powerful New Sound

The first teaser focuses on creating tension rather than revealing the complete song or its music video concept.

Its combination of explosive imagery, rising smoke and scattered debris suggests a high-impact visual direction, while the repeated “SHOCK SHOCK” phrase gives the clip an immediately recognisable musical hook.

Although the short preview does not reveal the full arrangement, it offers a clear indication that the group is preparing another energetic release.

Fans will have to wait for the official launch to hear the complete track and discover how the teaser’s signature sound fits into the song.

The upcoming single follows ‘NEW WAV,’ through which TREASURE explored a stronger hip-hop identity.

Released in June, the mini album showcased a more intense performance style and featured a collection of tracks with distinct hip-hop influences.

The album achieved notable commercial results, selling more than one million copies during its first week and reaching No. 1 on iTunes album charts in 13 regions.

It also topped major album charts in South Korea and Japan.

The music video for the album’s title track surpassed 100 million views in 11 days, becoming the fastest video in TREASURE’s history to reach that milestone at the time.

The group also earned a music show victory with the release.

TREASURE Builds on ‘NEW WAV’ Success Ahead of Comeback

Beyond the title track, ‘NEW WAV’ included B-side songs such as “DANGER,” “NALLY-NA (HYUNHAYO)” and “ZOOM ZOOM.”

Content connected to these tracks attracted further attention, with their related videos accumulating more than 300 million views combined.

Following the album’s promotional period, TREASURE completed a fan concert tour spanning 22 shows across 10 cities.

During the tour, the members shared that they were working on new music, giving fans an early indication that another release was in preparation.

The group also received recognition at the 2026 The Fact Music Awards in September, winning two awards: Artist of the Year and World Best Performer.

The honours added to a busy year for the group, which has continued to connect with fans through music, live performances and touring activities.

Now, ‘SHOCK’ is set to carry that momentum into the final months of 2026.

The digital single will be released on November 2 at 6 PM KST, with further details about the track and its accompanying content expected to emerge as the release approaches.

For TREASURE, the new song represents the next step following the hip-hop-focused direction of ‘NEW WAV.’

With its first teaser emphasising dramatic visuals and a memorable repeated phrase, ‘SHOCK’ has already established an intense tone ahead of its official debut.
