GwakTube signs exclusive SM C&C contract.

Popular travel YouTuber Gwak Jun-bin, known as GwakTube, has signed an exclusive contract with SM C&C. This move places him among the renowned entertainers and actors under the management company.

On the 15th, SM C&C announced the exciting news. They praised Gwak Jun-bin as the top choice for TV appearances. Previously, GwakTube was affiliated with Sandbox Network until last month.

Gwak Jun-bin’s YouTube channel, “GwakTube,” has 2.04 million subscribers. He started his YouTube journey in 2018 and surpassed one million subscribers in three years. Alongside Pani Bottle, Gwak has established himself as a leading travel YouTuber in Korea.

Gwak has shared his personal story of overcoming severe bullying and dropping out of high school. His journey began with a desire to travel to places without Koreans, which led to his popular YouTube content.

Known for his witty and entertaining style, Gwak’s appearances on various YouTube channels have created new slang terms among fans. “Gwak style” and “Junmyudenda” (falling for Jun-bin) are now popular phrases.

Gwak made his television debut on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” in 2023.
