The Ultimatum France is one of the most loved reality TV series out there and is a spinoff of the original series called The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. The format shows six couples who readily appear in the series and are engaged to each other. They have not yet tied the knots, but it has been a bumpy road for them.
This series gives them an opportunity to either marry the person to whom they were initially engaged or get a new partner. After appearing on the screen, they are given the opportunity to swap partners of their choosing and move in with them. They are also totally free to move in with their original matches, the ones with whom they came to town.
After that, these couples have a limited time of just eight weeks or two months to decide whether they want to stay in their original relationships or change their partners. By the end of the same, they will be given a huge ultimatum to either get married or go off and be single.
This French reality TV series really puts the notion of marriage forward in different ways that have never been done before and gives the couple a taste of what kind of life is coming forward for them. Now, coming to the couples from the show, here is what happened to them.
Lindsay and Scott
During the engagement period, the couple was going strong, but it was obvious that they had their differences and were not ready to tie the knot just yet. This resulted in them splitting up on the Ultimatum Day. However, it was later confirmed that the two had actually come back together.
The couple has not provided us with any proof of where their relationship is right now, and thus, it is a bit tough to say anything. In recent days, he made an appearance with Lina on the reality TV show called It’s Just TV.
Romane and Theo
As for Romane and Theo, the duo left the show together and did not get engaged at all. Romane is currently living in Aix-en-Provence and is studying. While talking about the show on her Instagram, she talked about how grateful she is for the opportunity to be able to do this series on Netflix.
There were obviously a lot of supportive messages towards her, but some were hurtful as well. She asked everyone to be kind as no one is perfect and makes mistakes. The duo is not together right now, and even in the reunion episode where Theo did not come, Romane told everyone that they were trying to move on. The duo actually lives in the same city.
Sarah and Andre
Till this point, it feels like Sarah and Andre are together. They had a lot of shortcomings in their relationship, with a double proposal in between as well. In order to heal from the same, the couple decided to tie the knot. They are currently taking things slow and steady and thinking about their future together. The couple is living in Paris, France.
Catherin and Richie
On the show, we saw the couple walk off engaged. Their home was so strong that in just two weeks, it was reported that they had married each other. Some of the moments from their wedding are also featured in the series. At this time, they are still together and going strong.
Their time on the show was beautiful and brought them together in Paris, France, where they are currently living as well. Even the fans are pretty happy about the match, as it seemed like one of the most genuine connections on the screen.
Alena and Benjamin
We saw how Alena was hoping to marry her partner Benjamin only. Even Benjamin was hoping for the same, although he did not want to rush things. He wants to establish himself financially first and then tie the knots. Alena agreed to wait for him, and the couple walked off. They are still together, although unmarried, but are enjoying their time in Paris, France.
