Two familiar faces are making their long-awaited return to The Mummy franchise. Oded Fehr and Kevin J. O’Connor have officially joined the cast of The Mummy 4, reuniting with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz for the next chapter of Universal’s classic adventure series.
The returning cast has already sparked excitement as the franchise prepares for its big-screen comeback in 2027. Returning Favorites Strengthen the Cast
Oded Fehr is returning as Ardeth Bay, the fearless leader of the Medjai who has protected Egypt from ancient threats since the original The Mummy. His character became one of the franchise’s most respected heroes thanks to his bravery, wisdom, and loyalty. His return brings back one of the series’ most iconic protectors.
Kevin J. O’Connor is also back as Beni Gabor, the greedy and cowardly adventurer from the 1999 film. Beni was last seen trapped inside a collapsing tomb surrounded by flesh-eating scarab beetles, but his death was never shown on screen.
According to Deadline, both actors have officially signed on for The Mummy 4. The report also revealed that Numan Acar has joined the cast in an undisclosed role, while actor Michael Johnston is rumored to be part of the project as well.
Oded Fehr Confirms His Return
The news became even more exciting after Oded Fehr shared a teaser on his official Instagram account. The short video featured scenes from his earlier appearances as Ardeth Bay and confirmed that he will return in the new film.
