That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Volume 33 claimed the top spot on Japan’s weekly manga sales ranking dated October 19, 2026, selling an estimated 143,183 copies during the October 5–11 tracking period. The latest figures, reported by ORICON NEWS, place the fantasy series ahead of World Trigger Volume 30 and Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Volume 51.

Released in Japan on October 8, the 33rd volume of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime secured a lead of 39,424 copies over the second-place title. It accounted for approximately 24.3% of the estimated sales generated by the week’s Top 10 manga releases, highlighting the strong debut of the latest installment.

WORLD TRIGGER AND IRUMA-KUN SECURE TOP THREE POSITIONS

World Trigger Volume 30 finished in second place with 103,759 estimated copies sold. Although its weekly sales fell 9.5% from the previous period’s 114,666 copies, the volume’s estimated cumulative sales reached 218,425 copies across the reported tracking periods.

Meanwhile, Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Volume 51 entered the chart at No. 3, making it one of seven new releases to reach the Top 10. The influx of new volumes significantly reshaped the weekly rankings.

The chart’s combined Top 10 sales reached 588,326 copies, up 37.5% from 427,852 copies in the previous week. The number of new entries helped reshape the rankings, pushing several returning titles down despite modest sales increases.

Blue Box Volume 27 dropped from fourth to seventh place even though its weekly sales rose 4% to 37,799 copies. Similarly, Ichi the Witch Volume 10 slipped from fifth to ninth despite selling 36,040 copies, a 2% increase from the previous week.

The results underline how competitive Japan’s weekly manga market can become when several popular series release new volumes within the same tracking period. With That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime leading the chart and World Trigger maintaining sales above 100,000 copies, established franchises continued to draw strong readership alongside the latest releases.
