Global group &TEAM has officially announced the upcoming release of the second version of their official light stick.
Alongside an initial concept teaser, the group’s agency shared important details regarding the design, technological upgrades, and the transition timeline for fans planning to use the merchandise at upcoming concerts and events.
Design Enhancements and Upgraded Technology
The development of the new version was primarily driven by manufacturing constraints regarding the original hardware.

The agency explained the reasoning behind the release:
“As certain key components used in the existing product are no longer in production, the OFFICIAL LIGHT STICK VER.2 has been developed with a new design that embodies the identity of &TEAM and LUNÉ, along with upgraded technology, to provide an enhanced concert experience.” – &TEAM’s Agency
The updated model introduces a fresh aesthetic designed to capture the unique bond between the members and their fandom, while integrating modern technical capabilities to improve synchronized venue effects.
Compatibility and Transition Schedule
To ensure a smooth transition for concertgoers, the management outlined a structured schedule regarding how both versions will function during live performances over the next couple of years:
- Short-Term Support: Both Version 1 and Version 2 will support wireless central stage control for a designated period following the launch of the new model in September.
- Long-Term Transition: Starting in 2028, stage wireless control will exclusively support Version 2.
- Discontinuation: The original &TEAM Official Light Stick Ver. 1 will be permanently discontinued once remaining stock completely runs out.
Fans can look forward to seeing the new light stick in action as &TEAM prepares for its official release this September.
