Taylor Morden’s new documentary about the impact of the 2004 series LOST has released an official trailer on Thursday, October 3. The documentary, called Getting LOST, shows how the mystery series has affected pop culture and its history. It also includes new interviews with the cast and crew, as shown in the trailer.

LOST first aired on ABC on September 22, 2004. Many people loved the show until it ended on May 23, 2010. Some fans still think the show did not end satisfactorily. Some cast members talked about this in the new trailer for Getting LOST.

Viewers will also see clips of the plane crash from the original series and the community of fans that the show brought together. Fans still celebrate the show even after all these years.

Getting LOST Features Lots of Archival Footage

At the end of July, during the making of Getting LOST, the cast and crew members were announced. This happened soon after Morden became the director.

The list of names included Evangeline Lilly, Daniel Dae Kim, Henry Ian Cusick, Emilie De Ravin, Nestor Carbonell, Josh Holloway, Terry O’Quinn, Maggie Grace, Jorge Garcia, Michael Emerson, Malcolm David Kelley, Elizabeth Mitchell, Sonya Walger, Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse, Jack Bender, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Michael Giacchino, and Larry Fong.

Getting LOST will be a great experience for existing fans of the supernatural series. It will also welcome new fans to the LOST universe, created by Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams, and Damon Lindelof. Besides the interviews, Getting LOST will include many hours of footage from an unfinished LOST documentary that was stopped in 2010.

The new documentary is fully financed by crowdfunding on Indiegogo. Ralph D. Apel, Emily Claire, Jo Garfein, and Morden are in charge of production.

LOST will be in theaters across Canada through Cineplex on November 3. Showings in New York City, Eugene, OR, and Orange County, CA, will be announced soon. All seasons of LOST are also available for streaming on Netflix.
