Starship Entertainment, the agency managing the rising K-pop group IVE, has taken decisive action following a disturbing safety threat directed at one of its members, Jang Won-young.

The agency’s response was prompted by the discovery of a threatening post targeting Jang Won-young on a community forum. Starship Entertainment swiftly reported this development to the authorities and has since intensified security measures.

In an official statement released on May 9th, Starship Entertainment emphasized their unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of their artists. They have reinforced security personnel and are reevaluating security protocols for travel routes, office premises, and accommodations.

A representative from Starship Entertainment stated, “We have requested swift investigation and protection for the artist’s safety, and we plan to take legal action as soon as the identity of the individual is revealed.”
