Spider-Man: Brand New Day has achieved another major box office milestone, with the Marvel and Sony superhero film surpassing $700 million in domestic ticket sales. The Tom Holland-led movie has become the fastest film ever to reach the benchmark, further cementing Spider-Man’s status as one of the biggest franchises in modern cinema.

The film has earned $704.5 million in North America and has reached approximately $1.8 billion worldwide after only two weekends in theaters. Its record-breaking performance has made it the highest-grossing movie of 2026 and one of the biggest theatrical successes ever recorded.

Spider-Man Joins Elite $700 Million Domestic Box Office Club

With its latest achievement, Spider-Man: Brand New Day joins a highly exclusive group of movies that have crossed $700 million at the domestic box office. Only seven films have reached this milestone, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avatar, Top Gun: Maverick, and Black Panther.

The movie’s international performance has been equally impressive. It has generated more than $1.108 billion overseas, surpassing the international earnings of its predecessor Spider-Man: No Way Home, which collected around $1.106 billion outside North America.

The film opened with a massive $355 million domestic debut and earned around $932 million globally in its opening period, allowing it to cross the $1 billion worldwide mark in just six days.
