SEVENTEEN members Jeonghan and Joshua have achieved a major milestone with their first unit release, demonstrating their strong album-selling power both in South Korea and internationally.
Their debut mini-album, DREAMSCAPE, surpassed 800,000 copies in first-week sales, setting a new benchmark for K-pop unit albums.
According to Hanteo Chart, DREAMSCAPE sold a total of 804,949 copies during its first week, covering the period from October 19 to October 25, 2026.
The album also secured the No. 1 position on Hanteo’s weekly album chart, giving the duo an impressive start to their activities as a unit.
The achievement follows an equally strong opening on release day.
Jeonghan and Joshua sold more than 650,000 copies on October 19 alone, setting a new record for the highest first-day sales by a K-pop unit album.
The result highlighted the anticipation surrounding their first official project together and the support they continue to receive from SEVENTEEN’s global fanbase.
With DREAMSCAPE, the two singers have established a distinct musical partnership while adding another successful chapter to SEVENTEEN’s expanding catalogue of unit releases.
‘DREAMSCAPE’ Tops Charts in South Korea and Overseas
Released on October 19, DREAMSCAPE features seven tracks, including its title song, “12 O’Clock.”
The album explores the idea of a dreamscape, bringing together dreams, unconscious fantasies and imagined ideals of reality.
Its concept gives the project a central theme that connects the songs and the duo’s first collaborative release.
Beyond its domestic sales, the album has also performed strongly across several international markets.
In Japan, DREAMSCAPE topped Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking for two consecutive days, on October 20 and 21.
It also reached No. 1 on LINE MUSIC’s Album Top 100 chart, demonstrating its reception among Japanese listeners.
The release achieved another chart milestone in China, where it claimed the top position on QQ Music’s Digital Best-Selling Albums chart.
Meanwhile, “12 O’Clock” reached No. 34 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart.
These results add to the momentum created by the album’s record-breaking first day.
Its performance across multiple platforms illustrates how the project has reached listeners beyond its initial release market, while the first-week sales figure reinforces the duo’s strong physical album demand.
The release also marks an important moment in SEVENTEEN’s continuing tradition of smaller-unit projects.
The group has previously introduced combinations of members that allow different vocal colours and performance styles to take centre stage.
Jeonghan and Joshua’s partnership gives fans an opportunity to experience the two members together in a dedicated project rather than as part of the full group.
Jeonghan X Joshua Prepare for ‘JOURNEY INTO DREAMING’ Tour
Following the success of DREAMSCAPE, Jeonghan and Joshua are preparing to meet fans through their upcoming tour, titled JOURNEY INTO DREAMING.
The concert series will begin at Incheon’s Inspire Arena, with performances scheduled from October 30 to November 1, 2026.
The Incheon shows have already sold out through the fan-club membership presale, adding another encouraging result to the unit’s debut activities.
The tour is also scheduled to visit six cities, including Saitama, Macau, Taipei, Busan and Hong Kong, bringing the duo’s performances to fans in different regions.
The upcoming concerts will give audiences an opportunity to experience the new album’s music in a live setting.
With the title track and six additional songs forming the seven-track release, the project provides a foundation for the duo’s first dedicated concert activities.
Jeonghan and Joshua’s debut has now delivered both a first-day sales record and a first-week total exceeding 800,000 copies.
As the pair move from album promotions to their concert schedule, DREAMSCAPE has established a strong starting point for their work together as SEVENTEEN’s newest unit.
