Fantasy romance fans have another anime to add to their watchlist. The official website for Seven Sleeping Beauties (Shichinin no Nemuri-hime), based on Fiok Lee’s manga, has announced that the series will receive a TV anime adaptation in 2027. The announcement also revealed the first teaser visual, confirmed the main voice cast, and introduced the key staff leading the production.
Seven Sleeping Bea

Duties Heads to TV Anime in 2027
Seven Sleeping Beauties first debuted in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine in March 2023. The manga quickly gained attention for its unique mix of fantasy, romance, and comedy, with its first collected volume released later that year.
The series has continued to grow in popularity, and its 12th volume is scheduled to be released later this month. The upcoming TV anime will be produced by Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ SMASH, with Mankyū serving as director. The series composition is being handled by Keiichirō Ōchi, while Masaru Koseki is designing the characters for the anime adaptation.
A Fairy Tale With Seven Sleeping Princesses
The story follows Alec, the third prince of the Kingdom of Rudbeckia, who sets out to break a powerful curse that has left the neighboring Kingdom of Amaryllis trapped in an endless sleep. His mission seems straightforward at first. He believes all he has to do is wake the kingdom’s princess with a kiss.
However, Alec soon discovers that there is not just one sleeping princess, but seven. Each princess must be awakened before the curse can be lifted. Even after all seven wake up, the kingdom remains trapped under the spell, forcing Alec and the princesses to live together as they search for a way to save Amaryllis.
The unusual premise combines fantasy adventure, romantic comedy, and classic fairy tale themes, giving the series a fresh twist on the familiar “Sleeping Beauty” story.
Seven Princesses and Their Voice Cast
The anime’s official announcement introduced the seven princesses and the voice actors bringing them to life. The cast features Aya Yamane as Flora, Yoshino Aoyama as Kiara, Miku Itō as Claire, Ayasa Itō as Mia, Kana Ichinose as Charlotte, Fūka Izumi as Yuka, and Rina Kawaguchi as Eliza.
The newly announced cast brings together several well-known voice actors with experience across popular anime series. Their performances will help introduce each princess as the story makes its transition from manga to television.
To celebrate the anime adaptation, manga creator Fiok Lee released a special commemorative illustration alongside the first teaser visual. The artwork marked the announcement and gave fans an early look at the upcoming series while celebrating the milestone for the original manga.
For fans who have followed the manga since its debut in 2023, the anime adaptation marks an exciting new chapter. With its fairy tale-inspired story, memorable cast of princesses, and experienced production team, Seven Sleeping Beauties is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated fantasy romance anime arriving in 2027.
