Suzuki first introduced Sakamoto through a one-shot in Jump Giga in 2019 before launching the full manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in November 2020. The series follows former assassin Taro Sakamoto as he balances family life with battles against dangerous enemies.

The manga’s popularity has grown further through its anime adaptation, which premiered in January 2025 on Japanese television and Netflix. The second season of the anime is scheduled to debut in January 2027, continuing the franchise’s global expansion.
