Sakamoto Days has officially crossed 18 million copies in circulation worldwide, marking another major achievement for Yuuto Suzuki’s popular manga series. The milestone was announced through the manga’s official X account, coinciding with the release of its latest collected volume.
Shueisha also released Volume 28 of Sakamoto Days on the same day as the circulation announcement. The manga entered its final storyline in 2025, with the series currently building toward its climax.

Suzuki first introduced Sakamoto through a one-shot in Jump Giga in 2019 before launching the full manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in November 2020. The series follows former assassin Taro Sakamoto as he balances family life with battles against dangerous enemies.
The manga’s popularity has grown further through its anime adaptation, which premiered in January 2025 on Japanese television and Netflix. The second season of the anime is scheduled to debut in January 2027, continuing the franchise’s global expansion.
