Prime Video has officially revealed the first-look images and premiere date for Neagley, the highly anticipated spinoff expanding the world of Reacher. Starring Maria Sten as fan-favorite investigator Frances Neagley, the new action thriller will premiere globally on September 16, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video.
The announcement also confirms how the franchise’s release schedule will unfold. Reacher Season 4 begins on August 12, 2026, launching with three episodes before shifting to weekly releases. Once the season concludes on September 16, Prime Video will immediately release all eight episodes of Neagley, giving fans a seamless transition from Jack Reacher’s latest mission into Frances Neagley’s standalone story.
The new series is based on the character created by bestselling author Lee Child and promises to explore another side of the Reacher universe while retaining the franchise’s signature blend of action, investigation, and suspense.
Frances Neagley Takes Center Stage
Unlike Reacher, which follows Alan Ritchson’s wandering former military policeman, Neagley places the spotlight on Frances Neagley, one of the franchise’s most popular supporting characters.
According to Prime Video, Neagley is now working as a private investigator in Chicago after serving alongside Jack Reacher in the Army’s elite 110th Special Investigations Unit. Her latest case begins when a close friend dies in what appears to be a suspicious accident.
Determined to uncover the truth, Neagley launches her own investigation, using the skills she developed during her military career. As she digs deeper, she uncovers a dangerous conspiracy that forces her into a deadly pursuit of justice.
Returning Faces and New Cast Members
Maria Sten reprises her role as Frances Neagley, while Alan Ritchson will make a guest appearance as Jack Reacher, maintaining a direct connection between the two series.
The supporting cast includes Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole.
Behind the scenes, the series is created by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, who also serve as executive producers and co-showrunners. The production comes from Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios, with Lee Child also serving as an executive producer.
Prime Video Expands the Reacher Universe
With Reacher becoming one of Prime Video’s biggest original action franchises, Neagley represents the first major expansion of the series into a shared television universe.
The decision to release the complete first season immediately after the Reacher Season 4 finale allows fans to continue following familiar characters without waiting between releases. Combined with the newly released first-look images, Prime Video is positioning Neagley as one of its major action premieres for fall 2026.
