Prime Video has released a new installment of its Emmy-nominated sports series Eli Manning Presents: The Undercovers, this time featuring New York Liberty point guard Sabrina Ionescu in a hidden-camera surprise at her alma mater, the University of Oregon. The episode premiered on June 29, arriving just ahead of Prime Video’s live coverage of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Final between the New York Liberty and the Las Vegas Aces.
Alongside the episode, Prime Video also revealed the official trailer and key art for the Sabrina Ionescu special. Available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories, the latest installment continues the series’ unique format of placing elite athletes in elaborate disguises before sending them into familiar environments without revealing their identities.
Produced by Range Studios and Ten Till Productions, the series has gained industry recognition after earning a nomination for Outstanding Edited Sports Series: Hosted at the 2026 Sports Emmy Awards, highlighting its growing popularity among sports fans.
Sabrina Ionescu goes undercover as ‘Jennifer Scone’
In the newest episode, host Eli Manning recruits Sabrina Ionescu for an undercover mission at the University of Oregon, where she became one of the most decorated players in women’s college basketball.
After undergoing a dramatic transformation by a team of Hollywood makeup artists, Ionescu adopts the identity of Jennifer Scone, an enthusiastic Oregon Ducks fan attending her first basketball game. The disguise proves remarkably convincing, with even her former coaches—including Oregon head coach Kelly Graves—failing to recognize her beneath the prosthetics.
The hidden-camera experience sees Ionescu fully immerse herself in the role while interacting with fans throughout the arena. She poses for photos, purchases Bingo tickets from the booster club, and enjoys conversations with Oregon supporters without revealing her true identity.
At one point, she briefly breaks character to sign an autograph for a young fan before returning to her undercover persona.
Surprise halftime moment delivers the episode’s biggest reveal
The episode builds toward its biggest surprise during a halftime free-throw competition.
Still disguised as Jennifer Scone, Ionescu steps onto the court, where her elite basketball skills quickly leave spectators stunned. The unexpected display ultimately reveals the identity of the New York Liberty star, creating the emotional payoff that has become the signature of Eli Manning Presents: The Undercovers.

The new installment launches just before Prime Video’s exclusive coverage of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Final, further highlighting the platform’s expanding investment in women’s basketball and live sports programming.
