P1Harmony’s Jiung will temporarily limit his movements during the group’s upcoming activities after suffering an ankle injury.
FNC Entertainment announced the update on October 1, explaining that the singer recently injured his ankle during a schedule and was subsequently examined at a hospital.
According to the agency, Jiung’s injury is not expected to significantly affect his everyday activities.
However, a medical professional advised him to avoid movements that could place strain on his ankle while he recovers.
As a result, Jiung will participate in his scheduled activities from October 2 to October 4 while minimizing movement.
He will perform while seated during this period, allowing him to continue meeting his professional commitments while taking precautions for his recovery.
FNC Entertainment Shares Update on Jiung’s Injury
FNC Entertainment explained that Jiung sustained the injury while carrying out a schedule and promptly visited a hospital for an examination.
While the injury does not significantly interfere with his daily routine, doctors recommended temporarily avoiding movements that could put additional strain on his ankle.
The agency stated that:
“in order to make a full recovery, he must avoid any movement that can strain his ankle for the time being.”
FNC Entertainment also revealed that it had discussed the situation at length with Jiung while making his health and recovery the top priority.
Since the P1Harmony member expressed a strong desire to continue participating in his previously scheduled activities, the agency decided on adjusted performances that would minimize physical movement.
“Taking into account Jiung’s strong determination to participate in his scheduled activities, he will be minimizing movement and performing seated for his scheduled activities from October 2 to 4,” the agency said.

The company also apologized for any concern the announcement may have caused and promised to do its best to support Jiung’s recovery.
Jiung To Continue Activities With Adjusted Performances
Despite the injury, Jiung is expected to remain involved in P1Harmony’s scheduled activities during the October 2–4 period.
Rather than completely withdrawing from these appearances, his performances will be modified to reduce the amount of movement required.
The announcement reflects a balance between Jiung’s wish to continue his commitments and the medical advice he received regarding his recovery.
Fans will therefore see the idol performing while seated until the current adjustment period is complete.
The latest update comes during an active year for P1Harmony. Earlier in 2026, the group released its sixth Korean mini album “UNIQUE,” which achieved a No. 4 debut on the Billboard 200, marking the group’s highest position on the chart at the time.
For now, FNC Entertainment has not announced any additional changes beyond the October 2–4 schedule.
The agency concluded its notice by assuring fans that it would continue doing everything possible to help Jiung return to full health as quickly as possible.
Fans are now sending their support to Jiung as he takes the necessary precautions while continuing his scheduled activities.
