Nintendo has rolled out its latest weekly update with the “Nintendo Download: Four Ages, One Mission,” bringing a mix of new releases, limited-time offers, and fresh content across Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
Headlining the update is a brand-new action RPG alongside several notable additions and promotions for players.
The Adventures of Elliot Leads This Week’s Releases
The biggest highlight of this week’s drop is The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, a new single-player action RPG from the team behind the OCTOPATH TRAVELER series. Designed as a story-driven experience, the game follows Elliot and his fairy companion Faie as they travel across four different ages to lift a mysterious curse threatening their kingdom.
The gameplay blends real-time combat with exploration, offering players seven different weapon types and customizable Magicite upgrades. Faie also plays an active role through “Fairy Actions,” adding another layer to combat and puzzle-solving. The game is available now on Nintendo Switch 2, positioning itself as one of the more ambitious new RPG entries on the platform.
Another major addition this week is Observer: System Redux, a dystopian sci-fi thriller from Bloober Team. The game places players in the role of an Observer, an investigator who hacks into the minds of suspects to uncover secrets.
Set in a dark cyberpunk future, the title explores themes of surveillance and control, offering a narrative-heavy experience. Its arrival on Switch 2 expands the platform’s growing library of mature and story-driven games.

Nintendo Switch Online Offer and Game Trials
Nintendo is also pushing a limited-time promotion for its Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Players who purchase or redeem a 12-month membership can receive a bonus month at no extra cost, with the offer running until July 28.
Additionally, EA SPORTS FC 26 is available as a Game Trial for Nintendo Switch Online members. Players can access the full game for a limited time, with progress carrying over if they choose to purchase it later. The title is also available at a significant discount during the promotion window, making it one of the more accessible entries for sports fans this week.
Digital Spotlight Celebrates Father’s Day
This week’s Digital Spotlight focuses on Father’s Day, highlighting a range of family-friendly titles. Games like Super Mario Party Jamboree, Kirby Air Riders, and FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH are being promoted as ideal picks for players looking to share gaming experiences with family.
The spotlight also encourages revisiting classic Nintendo titles through Switch Online, tapping into nostalgia with retro libraries featuring NES, Super NES, and Game Boy games.
Music, Pre-Orders, and New Releases
Nintendo Music continues to expand with the addition of the Wii Sports Resort soundtrack, alongside new playlists inspired by classic Super Mario Bros. titles. These additions aim to enhance the growing appeal of Nintendo’s music platform for longtime fans.
On the pre-order side, Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition is set to launch on June 23 for Switch 2, bringing high-speed action and additional downloadable content to the platform.
Beyond the highlights, this week also includes a large list of new titles arriving on both Switch and Switch 2, ranging from indie experiences to retro collections. These additions continue Nintendo’s steady cadence of content updates across its ecosystem.
