Nintendo has rolled out its latest weekly Nintendo Download, headlined by the launch of Digimon Story Time Stranger on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The update also introduces Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, expands the Nintendo Switch Online retro library with several Game Boy and Game Boy Advance classics, and adds new events, pre-orders, and promotions for players.
According to Nintendo, this week’s lineup combines major new releases with retro favorites and ongoing community events, giving Switch owners plenty to explore. Nintendo Switch 2 users also receive platform-specific enhancements for select games, while Nintendo Switch Online subscribers gain access to additional classic titles.
Alongside the game launches, Nintendo announced fresh content for Nintendo Music, limited-time in-game events, My Nintendo rewards, and a subscription promotion that offers an extra month of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack for eligible members.
Digimon Story Time Stranger leads this week’s Nintendo releases
The biggest new release is Digimon Story Time Stranger, which launches on July 10 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The turn-based RPG follows players as they attempt to save both the human world and the Digital World from impending destruction.
The game features more than 450 Digimon, strategic battles, and non-linear evolution paths that allow players to customize their team. Nintendo Switch 2 owners can also choose between different graphics modes for the experience.
Another major addition is Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, available now on Nintendo Switch 2. The action RPG lets players explore floating islands, battle massive enemies, and team up with up to four players in local or online multiplayer.
Players can also pre-order Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, which arrives on July 15 for both Switch systems.
Nintendo Switch Online library grows with classic Game Boy games
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers receive several classic games this week. Game Boy members can now play Fortified Zone, Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, and The Sword of Hope II, while Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers gain access to Dr. Mario & Puzzle League for Game Boy Advance.
Nintendo has also expanded Nintendo Music by adding new playlists featuring tracks from Super Mario World, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, and Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.
Events, promotions and additional content
Nintendo also announced several limited-time activities across its ecosystem.
The Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC event, Elephant Bananza Stampede, begins on July 14, giving players the chance to earn exclusive statues. Meanwhile, Splatoon 3 will host a special Splatoon Raiders-themed Splatfest from July 10 to July 12.
My Nintendo members can enter a new Star Fox Fan Bundle Sweepstakes, offering collectibles including a metal panel, backpack, and pilot cap. Nintendo is also making Star Fox-themed wallpapers available through Platinum Points.
Finally, Nintendo confirmed a limited-time promotion where eligible users who purchase or redeem a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership can receive an additional bonus month. The offer runs through July 28.
