Nintendo has confirmed a new Nintendo Direct presentation for June 30, with the broadcast focusing entirely on Splatoon Raiders, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive spin-off in the popular Splatoon franchise.

The presentation will air at 7 a.m. PDT / 10 a.m. EDT and run for approximately 15 minutes. According to Nintendo, fans can expect a closer look at gameplay and additional details about the single-player adventure ahead of its July release. The showcase will be followed by a Nintendo Treehouse: Live broadcast featuring extended gameplay demonstrations.

A closer look at Splatoon Raiders

Originally revealed shortly after the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, Splatoon Raiders shifts the series away from its competitive multiplayer roots and into a single-player survival adventure.

Players take on the role of a mechanic working alongside the Deep Cut trio—Frye, Shiver, and Big Man—as they explore the mysterious Spirhalite Islands in search of treasure. Along the way, they’ll battle Salmonids while building gadgets, paint-based tools, and unique creations to overcome environmental challenges.

The dedicated Direct is expected to provide the most detailed look at the game’s mechanics since its announcement.

Nintendo has already confirmed that Splatoon Raiders launches on July 23 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.

The company will also release three new amiibo figures based on the game’s versions of Frye, Shiver, and Big Man. In addition, Nintendo is introducing a new blue and light yellow Joy-Con 2 color set to coincide with the game’s launch.

The digital version of Splatoon Raiders will retail for $49.99, while the physical edition will cost $59.99 under Nintendo’s current pricing structure. Each new amiibo will be priced at $24.99.
