Netflix has responded cryptically to speculation that Meghan Markle could join the cast of The Gentlemen Season 3. During the Edinburgh TV Festival, Manda Levin, Netflix’s scripted chief in the UK, was asked directly about the Duchess of Sussex potentially appearing in the Guy Ritchie series.
Her response was brief but immediately fueled further discussion:
“All bets are off.”
Netflix did not provide any additional details, leaving the possibility of Markle joining the show open.
The comments follow reports that Markle has been in talks about a potential role in The Gentlemen. Deadline, which first reported the discussions, said the conversations were still at an early stage and cautioned that no deal had been confirmed.
If Markle joins the Netflix series, it would mark a significant return to acting for the former Suits star. The Gentlemen films in the UK and stars Theo James as Eddie Horniman, who discovers that the country estate he inherits is connected to a major cannabis empire.
Netflix’s response does not confirm Markle’s involvement, but its refusal to deny the rumors ensures the casting speculation surrounding Season 3 will continue.
