NCT WISH is giving fans a closer look at the music coming with their highly anticipated fourth mini album, I SPY.

On October 6, SM Entertainment revealed details about three of the album’s B-side tracks, offering a glimpse into the different sounds and messages the group will explore this time around.

Scheduled for release on October 12 at 6 p.m. KST, I SPY will contain six tracks in total, including the title track of the same name.

The newly revealed B-sides- “We Own This Street,” “UPGRADE,” and “Super Major”- showcase different genres while maintaining the confident and energetic identity NCT WISH is bringing to this comeback.

The announcement comes after the group began unveiling different concepts for the album.

Their “Confused Boy” imagery highlighted the awkward curiosity of developing new feelings, while the later “Lover Boy” concept captured the moment those unfamiliar emotions become recognizable as love.

NCT WISH Introduces Three New B-Side Tracks

One of the newly revealed songs is “We Own This Street,” a hip-hop-based alternative pop track built around a heavy beat.

The song expresses NCT WISH’s determination to break away from the repetitive rhythm of city life and transform their surroundings with their own energy and attitude.

Next comes “UPGRADE,” an electronic uptempo track that continues the game-world storyline introduced through “Videohood,” which appeared on the group’s third mini album.

In the lyrics, the members compare themselves to a “bug” capable of breaking through existing boundaries and opening the door to a new world.

The song reflects their confidence in presenting a more evolved side of themselves.

The third B-side, “Super Major,” is a pop dance track driven by lively synth sounds and an energetic tempo.

Rather than focusing on uncertainty, the song delivers an optimistic message about believing in one’s own possibilities and continuing to move forward even when the future is unpredictable.

I SPY Brings Together Different Musical Colors

The three B-sides add considerable variety to I SPY, with the album moving between alternative pop, electronic music, and pop dance.

Together with the title track, they are designed to showcase different sides of NCT WISH while maintaining the album’s broader theme of excitement, curiosity, and new emotions.

The title track “I SPY” has previously been described as a hybrid dance-pop song about the rush of developing a new crush.

Its changing sections mirror the shifting emotions that come with suddenly becoming interested in someone, while the repeated “I SPY” phrase conveys curiosity and the desire to learn more about that person.

With the album’s release now just days away, NCT WISH has continued building anticipation through its contrasting teaser concepts.

The colorful “Lover Boy” images followed the more restrained “Confused Boy” visuals, reflecting the progression from uncertainty to recognizing romantic feelings.

NCT WISH’s fourth mini album I SPY will be released on October 12 at 6 p.m. KST, giving fans the opportunity to hear all six tracks and discover how the newly revealed B-sides fit into the album’s overall story.
