Revealed by SM Entertainment, the announcement confirms that the new album will be released on August 24, 2026 (KST), followed by the launch of NCT 127 5TH TOUR ‘NEO CITY – THE REDLINE’ in September.
The upcoming album reflects on the group’s decade-long journey while looking toward the future, building on the bold musical identity and performance style that have defined NCT 127 since its debut. The announcement also outlines the first round of tour dates across Asia, with additional stops expected to be revealed later through the group’s official social media channels. Together, the album and tour are set to begin a new chapter for one of K-pop’s most successful acts.
NCT 127 celebrates 10 years with a new studio album
According to SM Entertainment, NCT 127’s seventh full-length album will arrive on August 24 and showcase the confidence and artistry the group has developed over the past decade.
Since debuting on July 7, 2016, with “Fire Truck,” the group has become known for its experimental sound and high-energy performances. Songs such as “Cherry Bomb,” “Kick It,” “Sticker,” “2 Baddies,” “Fact Check,” and “Walk” have helped establish NCT 127 as one of K-pop’s most recognizable groups while consistently pushing creative boundaries.
The new release is expected to continue that direction, serving as both a celebration of the group’s history and the start of its next era.
‘NEO CITY – THE REDLINE’ tour begins in Seoul this September
Following the album launch, NCT 127 will begin NCT 127 5TH TOUR ‘NEO CITY – THE REDLINE’ with three concerts at KSPO DOME in Seoul from September 18 to 20.
The tour will then continue with scheduled stops in Jakarta, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei, while SM Entertainment has confirmed that more dates will be announced in the future.
Building on the success of the previous ‘NEO CITY – THE MOMENTUM’ tour, ‘THE REDLINE’ promises to showcase the group’s signature stage presence, synchronized performances, and powerful live production as they celebrate their 10th anniversary with fans across Asia.
NCT 127 currently consists of JOHNNY, TAEYONG, YUTA, DOYOUNG, JAEHYUN, JUNGWOO, and HAECHAN. The group has achieved multiple Billboard milestones, including Fact Check becoming its fourth No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and 2 Baddies debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
Ahead of the new album, the group is also set to return to the United States as a headliner at KCON LA 2026, adding to what is shaping up to be one of the biggest years in NCT 127’s career.
