Virtual artist Mori Calliope is bringing a pair of special fan events to Los Angeles this July. The bilingual rapper and singer has announced a limited-time pop-up store running from July 2 to July 12, alongside the world’s earliest advance screening of the Blu-ray for Mori Calliope 2nd Concert “Grimoire.” The events celebrate one of the VTuber’s biggest milestones and give fans the chance to purchase exclusive merchandise while watching the concert ahead of its official home video release.

The announcement continues Mori Calliope’s growing global momentum following the success of her latest album, DISASTERPIECE, and her sold-out overseas concert at the Hollywood Palladium in February 2025. Both the pop-up store and Blu-ray screening will take place in Los Angeles, the city where the original concert was held, making the celebrations especially meaningful for longtime fans.

The Mori Calliope Special POP-UP will be open from July 2 through July 12 at Anime Jungle in Little Tokyo. Fans attending Anime Expo 2026 will also be able to visit a dedicated Anime Jungle booth during the convention, which runs from July 2 to July 5.

Both locations will offer Mori Calliope’s complete lineup of merchandise released since her major-label debut. Visitors can also purchase limited-edition Reimei Compass T-shirts, while every purchase will include a venue-exclusive shopping bag available only during the Los Angeles event.

By hosting the pop-up at both Anime Jungle and Anime Expo, organizers are giving convention attendees and local fans multiple opportunities to shop for exclusive merchandise throughout the event period.

To celebrate the upcoming release of Mori Calliope 2nd Concert “Grimoire”, an advance screening will take place at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Downtown Los Angeles on July 11 and July 12.

Each day will feature two screenings, scheduled for 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM local time, giving fans four opportunities to watch the concert before its official Blu-ray release. Tickets are priced at $25 and will go on sale July 2 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time on a first-come, first-served basis through the theater’s website.

Organizers noted that the event will screen the Blu-ray only and will not include any live or virtual appearance by Mori Calliope. However, audience cheering and applause will be permitted to recreate the atmosphere of a live concert.

Mori Calliope continues expanding her international presence

Known for seamlessly blending Japanese and English lyrics with her signature rap style, Mori Calliope has established herself as one of the most successful VTuber musicians worldwide. She made her major-label debut with Universal Music in 2022 and has continued to build an international fanbase through charting music releases and live performances.

Her latest album, DISASTERPIECE, appeared on multiple Billboard charts, including Artist 100, World Albums, Top Album Sales, and Heatseekers Albums. Earlier in 2025, she also held her first overseas solo concert at the Hollywood Palladium, selling out the iconic Los Angeles venue.

With exclusive merchandise, a commemorative pop-up store, and the first public screening of the Grimoire concert Blu-ray, Mori Calliope’s upcoming Los Angeles events offer fans a unique way to celebrate one of the biggest chapters in her career.
