Monster Hunter Outlanders is gearing up for its next major testing phase, with Capcom and TiMi Studio Group officially opening registrations for the game’s third closed beta test.
The announcement was made through Monster Hunter Outlanders’ official X account, where the developers shared details about the third closed beta test.
Players can submit their applications through the official website from July 2 to July 24, 2026, while the beta itself is scheduled to begin on August 7. The upcoming test will once again be available on iOS and Android, giving selected participants another opportunity to explore the open-world survival title before its full release.
Following feedback gathered during the second closed beta in May, the development team has confirmed that this test will introduce new radiant monsters, additional hunters, and several gameplay improvements based on its previously shared optimization plan. The studio also noted that device compatibility will continue to be evaluated as performance optimization remains a priority ahead of launch.
Who Can Apply and Supported Platforms
Like the previous beta, registrations are divided into two categories: General Participants and Content Creators. The creator category is designed for streamers and social media creators who regularly produce gaming content and want to share their gameplay experiences with their communities. Applicants may choose either category or apply for both.
The closed beta supports iPhone XR or newer devices running iOS 17 or later, while Android users will need a device powered by at least a Snapdragon 845 processor running Android 12 or newer.
The test will be available in Japan, the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and the Philippines. Selected participants will receive confirmation through the email address provided during registration.
Alongside the announcement, Capcom and TiMi Studio Group also released a new trailer, offering another look at the game’s expanding world and upcoming content before the August beta begins.
