Anime collectors have another wave of classic releases to look forward to as MediaOCD has revealed the latest additions to its ongoing Discotek Deep Dives initiative. Announced on July 15, 2026, the July lineup brings a fresh selection of Blu-ray titles from Discotek Media’s extensive catalog, giving fans new opportunities to own beloved anime series, OVAs, movies, and live-action adaptations.
The initiative continues MediaOCD’s partnership with Discotek Media by adding new titles every month through the MediaOCD website. The latest batch highlights several iconic franchises, including Lupin the Third, Symphogear, Mazinger Z, Saint Seiya, and Sonic X, while also featuring classic anime and Japanese live-action releases. All July titles are currently available for pre-order and are expected to begin shipping in the coming weeks.
Discotek Deep Dives adds Lupin the Third, Symphogear, and more classic anime
One of the biggest highlights of July’s collection is the extensive lineup of Lupin the Third releases. Fans can pre-order The Return of Pycal, Fujiko’s Lie, Goemon’s Blood Spray, Jigen’s Gravestone, TV Part 3: The Pink Jacket Adventure, and both the Japanese and English editions of TV Part 4: The Italian Adventure. The collection offers a mix of classic television episodes and acclaimed standalone films that showcase the long-running franchise’s enduring popularity.
Another major focus this month is Symphogear, with every season of the action-packed sci-fi magical girl series joining the lineup. The collection includes The Complete First Season, Symphogear G, GX, AXZ, and XV, making it easier for collectors to own the entire series on Blu-ray.
Classic mecha anime also receives significant attention with Mazinger Z Part 1, Mazinger Z Part 2, God Mazinger, and Go Nagai World all available for pre-order. Fans of vintage anime can also add the Saint Seiya Classic Movie Collection and Monster Rancher (English dub) to their libraries.
The July slate extends beyond anime television series with several live-action adaptations and fan-favorite releases. These include the Dororo live-action film and the live-action adaptation of Uzumaki, alongside additional releases such as Kekkaishi, Kiss X Sis (TV and OAD), Marmalade Boy, Sonic X (Japanese subbed version), Ultimate Muscle (English dubbed version), Tona-gura!, and the Unico Double Feature.
MediaOCD launched the Discotek Deep Dives initiative to make more of Discotek Media’s extensive Blu-ray catalog directly available through its online store. New titles are introduced every month, encouraging anime collectors to check back regularly for additional releases as the catalog continues to grow.
