Global action star Ma Dong Seok (also known internationally as Don Lee) is expanding his reach in Hollywood after officially joining the cast of Netflix’s highly anticipated action film Extraction 3.
On August 18, 2026, his agency Big Punch Entertainment confirmed his casting, stating, “Following his role as the lead of ‘TYGO,’ a spin-off film based on the ‘Extraction’ universe, Ma Dong Seok will also join ‘Extraction 3,’ continuing his global action career.”
The announcement comes right as Netflix officially kicked off principal photography, signaling a major milestone for both the actor and the expanding franchise.

The third installment of the blockbuster franchise sees Sam Hargrave returning to the director’s chair, with David Weil handling screenplay duties.
While specific character details and plot points remain under tight wraps, the film will follow Chris Hemsworth’s character, Tyler Rake, as he takes on another high-stakes international mission.
