Karrion Kross’ initial run on the main roster in 2021 left many fans disappointed, especially his short-lived program with Jeff Hardy. Fans were particularly upset by Kross losing to Hardy in a quick roll-up match.
However, Kross recently revealed on Twitter that he and Hardy actually fought for a much more intense program! They envisioned a full-fledged feud culminating in a brutal TLC match at that year’s Extreme Rules event.
Wrestlers Pushed for Brutal Feud
Unfortunately, their efforts weren’t successful. Kross even mentioned their frustration with the lack of clear direction from management.
“Jeff and I wanted to carry this to Extreme Rules to blow off the match in a TLC,” Kross wrote. “We both tried to fight for it but no luck.”
Despite the scrapped plans, it seems there’s no bad blood between the two wrestlers. Kross even made a surprise appearance at a Jeff Hardy concert last year, showcasing their mutual respect.
While a future feud might not be happening anytime soon, this revelation sheds light on Kross and Hardy’s desire to deliver a more thrilling storyline.
