Crunchyroll reveals its plans to bring the Bocchi the Rock! recap films to theaters in North America. While dates and ticket information are yet to be revealed, fans can anticipate the debut of this two-part theatrical project soon. However, in Japan, The first installment, Bocchi the Rock! Re is set to premiere on June 7, 2024, followed by Bocchi the Rock! Re: Re on August 9, 2024.

Something to look forward to while you wait, Bocchi the Rock! will have a special panel during Anime Expo 2024. Director Keiichiro Saito and Hitori “Bocchi-chan” Goto voice actor Yoshino Aoyama will be making an appearance to share behind-the-scenes insights and mingle with the attendees.

Bocchi the Rock! chronicles the journey of Hitori “Bocchi” Gotou, a solitary and socially anxious girl who finds solace in playing the guitar. Dreaming of forming friendships and performing with a band, Bocchi’s life takes a turn when she encounters the spirited drummer Nijika Ijichi, who invites her to join Kessoku Band after their guitarist, Ikuyo Kita, abruptly departs before their first gig.
