Exciting news for fans of Delicious in Dungeon! Ryoko Kui, the creator of the acclaimed series, is set to make her debut appearance in North America as the Guest of Honor at Anime Expo 2024.
Taking place from July 4th to 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, this marks Kui’s first visit to the continent, offering fans a rare chance to meet the creator and obtain her signature.
To commemorate Kui’s attendance, Yen Press has revealed an exclusive acrylic stand featuring beloved characters from Delicious in Dungeon, available for purchase at their booth during the event. Ryoko Kui, known for her manga debut in 2011 with The Dragon’s School Is on Top of the Mountain, gained widespread recognition with her Delicious in Dungeon series, which ended in September 2023 after 14 volumes.
The anime adaptation by Studio Trigger premiered in January 2024, with the second cour currently airing and streaming on Netflix. Yen Press has licensed and published the manga in English, with the final 14th volume set for release on July 23rd of this year.
