Rookie idol group izna’s members Ryu Sarang and Choi Jungeun are stepping into new roles as radio DJs.

The two same-age bandmates will make their official debut as special hosts for MBC FM4U’s “Best Friends Broadcasting Club” (also known as “Close Friends Broadcast Team”), delivering their signature chemistry to listeners across South Korea.
Special Radio Hosting Schedule and “Konchiz” Chemistry
Ryu Sarang and Choi Jungeun- both born in 2007 and affectionately nicknamed “Konchiz” by their fanbase- are scheduled to host the radio show for a two-week run from August 3 to August 12.
While this marks their official debut on mainstream radio, the duo previously demonstrated their broadcasting abilities and conversational wit through “izzana” (you know…), a self-produced radio-style talk show released on izna’s official digital channels.
Fans anticipate that their close bond and cheerful energy will translate into an engaging listening experience during their special stint on MBC FM4U.
Upcoming Projects, Japanese Debut, and Solo Concerts
The radio appearance comes during a busy period for izna as they continue to build momentum following the release of their 3rd mini album, “SET THE TEMPO”:
- Japanese Debut: The group is preparing to release their 1st Japanese mini album, titled “HANDLE WITH CARE”, on September 2, officially expanding their promotions into the Japanese market.
- Seoul Solo Concerts: izna will host their upcoming concert, “2026 izna Concert Tour: WHO DAT GIRL? in SEOUL”, at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park on September 19 and 20.
