During the Yen Press Industry Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, the publisher officially announced the English print debut of Codename: Anastasia and Mignon: Special Box Set w/USB. Both titles have already built dedicated fanbases through their digital releases, and the new physical editions will give readers permanent collector-friendly versions of the stories.
The announcement marks another major addition to Ize Press’ catalog of Korean comics, which has steadily grown since the imprint launched in 2022. While Codename: Anastasia brings an action-packed espionage thriller filled with psychological tension and romance, Mignon arrives as a premium collector’s edition complete with exclusive physical bonuses and animated content. The releases highlight the increasing demand for high-quality print editions of hit Korean webcomics as fans continue to embrace BL storytelling across multiple formats.
Ize Press expands its BL lineup with two fan-favorite Korean webcomics
One of the biggest announcements was Codename: Anastasia, a bestselling BL espionage thriller featuring art by Han and an original story by Boyseason. The series follows National Intelligence Service agent Taekjoo Kwon, who travels to Russia on a classified mission to locate a mysterious weapon known as “Anastasia” that could threaten international stability.
During the mission, Taekjoo is partnered with Russian operative Zhenya, whose unpredictable personality makes him as dangerous as the assignment itself. The official synopsis describes him as someone “about as stable as a Molotov cocktail,” effortlessly shifting between a charming ally and a ruthless killer. As the investigation unfolds, the complicated relationship between the two becomes central to the story, blending espionage, political intrigue, psychological conflict, and slow-burn romance.
Originally serialized digitally on Tappytoon, Codename: Anastasia has accumulated more than two million views, making it one of the platform’s notable BL titles. The English print edition is scheduled for March 2027, giving fans their first opportunity to own the series in physical format.
Alongside it, Ize Press also revealed the Mignon: Special Box Set w/USB, based on Bboungbbangkkyu’s beloved supernatural romance. The story follows Mignon, a mechanic by day and underground cage fighter by night, whose difficult life changes after meeting the quiet Doctor Oh. Although the doctor secretly survives by feeding on the blood of his patients, Mignon refuses to abandon him and instead attempts to break through his emotional barriers despite the growing dangers surrounding both of them.
Collector-focused Mignon box set includes exclusive animation and bonus items
Rather than releasing individual volumes alone, Ize Press is offering Mignon as a premium collector’s package. The Special Box Set w/USB contains both manga volumes, exclusive photocards, and a USB featuring the complete uncensored one-hour animated film along with an exclusive eleven-minute side story animation unavailable elsewhere.
The publisher emphasized the long-term value of physical ownership, stating that “physical editions offer readers a lasting way to enjoy the stories they love.” The announcement also noted that the collector’s edition gives fans a permanent home for the series regardless of future changes to digital platforms or online availability.
According to Ize Press, the set is designed for readers who enjoy emotionally intense BL stories featuring grumpy-and-sunshine dynamics, supernatural romance, and mature animated content. The Mignon: Special Box Set w/USB is scheduled to launch in January 2027, ahead of Codename: Anastasia’s March release.
