Son Ye Jin and Kim Tae-pyung, who goes by the stage name Hyun Bin, appeared together in The Negotiation (2018), a South Korean action crime thriller movie, and Crash Landing On You (2019-2020), a South Korean global hit drama television series.
Crash Landing On You went off the air, and Son Ye’s relationship with Hyun Bin was confirmed on 01 January the following year. They approached social media to announce their engagement In February 2022 and got engaged the next month.
The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony, and Son Ye gave birth to her first baby, a boy, on 27 November 2022. They donated ₩200 million ($1,48,259) in March 2022 to help the people affected by the massive fire in some parts of South Korea.
Hyun Bin has been active since 2003 but came into the limelight through My Name Is Kim Sam-Soon (2005), a South Korean television series. He played a villain for the first time in the Negotiation (2018).
Son Ye Jin’s First Child
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin named their first boy Alkong. The former posts Alkong’s photos on social media but never reveals his face. Her fans might not know what Alkong looks like, but people around her say he resembles both (Son Ye and Hyun Bin).
As of now, they say Alkong looks like his mother more than his father. Son Ye posts some photos related to her son on Instagram. For instance, she clicked a photo of Alkong’s hand and compared it with their dog’s paws, according to a photo posted by her on Instagram, and her fans showered her and Alkong with love in the comment section.
However, it was not the first photo. Previously, Son Ye shared the first glimpse of her son’s tiny feet on Instagram. Meanwhile, Son Ye and Hyun Bin’s close friends, Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung, are expecting their second child, eight years after giving birth to the first one.

Son Ye and Hyun Bin married at the Aston House in Seoul following COVID-19 restrictions on 31 March 2022. The venue was chosen by other Korean celebrity couples, too. Singers sang as the couple walked down the aisle. Their guest list included A-listed actors, and the wedding was hosted by Park Kyung-rim.
Is Son Ye Jin Pregnant With Second Child?
Son Ye Jin is not pregnant with a second child. She said she likes kids, and she and her husband will think of having one more, according to her statement to the YouTube show ‘Celeb Luv Golf.’ She has been active since 2000. So, after contributing over twenty-three years to acting, she wants to spend quality time with her family.
Son Ye Jin is not a superhuman but wants to be a better wife and mother. She knows how much effort it requires. Still, Son Ye gives her best to make things better for her family. Moreover, she is happy with what she has.
