Music Ray’n has suspended the professional activities of voice actress Moka Hinata through the end of December 2026. The talent agency announced the decision on August 31, stating that it confirmed Hinata had engaged in conduct that “severely damaged trust” among the parties involved.
The agency did not disclose what happened or identify the people involved. However, Music Ray’n said it had not found any actions connected to the incident that violated laws or regulations. The company apologized to those affected as well as Hinata’s supporters and members of her vocal unit, DayRe:.
Alongside the suspension, Music Ray’n said it would review its management structure and work to rebuild the trust that was lost. Hinata also apologized to her fans and the people involved through her X account, saying she would use the time to reflect on her actions and hopes to reunite with her supporters in the future.
Hinata is known for voicing Mei Hayasaka in the 2021 anime Idoly Pride. Her other credits include Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included, Classroom of the Elite 4th Season: Second Year, First Semester, As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill, I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level 2, and Stella of the Theater: World Dai Star.
Hinata is also a member of DayRe:, a vocal unit formed through Music Ray’n’s third Super Voice Actor Audition in 2017. The group includes Kanata Aikawa, Mirai Tachibana, Kokona Natsume, Koharu Miyazawa and Hinata.
